::The sleek black form of the Inquisition streaked over the airspace above Leah Garden. The flight had been long and the passengers quiet. Lillith had even been too upset to be air sick. She'd flown the entire way with Oliver leaning against her as incoherent as when they left. And she was quiet, letting him piece himself back together, with nothing more to do than let him know she was there, and that she'd help however he could. Iole on the other hand had remained in the Galley, littering the floor with wrappers and bones from what she'd consumed in her emotion enduced binge. Clive found it ironic that the most comfortable place in the ship at the moment was in the cockpit with Shaft, who in between reminding him of what a fool he'd been by going AWOL from the Garden was spouting antecdotes of his past adventures as a SeeD. When the expansive field of lillies came into view in front of the manor, Shaft got on the radio::
Shaft: We're home my lovely!
Rose: Well it's about time! We have company! Tell Lillith that Kerion and his crew have arrived.
Shaft: Great. They could use some good news right now.
Rose: Did you find him?
Shaft: Yes, he's safe and sound, all in one piece. But not for long after Lillith gets him in her office. By the way, we picked up a hitch-hiker.
Rose: Please tell me you're kidding. I can only entertain guests for so long.
Shaft: Not really a guest. It's Iole.
Rose: Iole?! Then get to the kitchen as soon as you land! I am NOT cooking for that girl all on my own! It's too much to ask of an old woman like me!
Shaft: Old? Baby you're as spry and fiery since the day I met you.
Rose: You mean the day you tried to kill me?
Shaft: Honey, that was years ago. And for the hundredth time, I thought you were someone else!
Rose: You will not be able to ride that one forever mister. The Kitchen! Pronto!
Shaft: Ooooo I love it when you tell me what to do.
::Despite her apparent exhaustion, Rose laughed::
Rose: There's more where that came from you dirty old man.
(OOC: Hahaha Clive is privy to this whole conversation).

::The Inquisition landed and as soon as they stepped off the gangplank, Clive was met by a welcoming party. Though not the one that Rose had announced. A pair of arms clamped around his neck while another arm patted him heartily on the shoulder::
Serena: You're back! Don't you ever scare us like that again!
Garrett: Yeah, next time you should take us with you.
::Standing apart from Serena and Garrett as they welcomed Clive back warmly was a tall pale girl in all black with her hair tied into a multitude of small braids. Her dark eyebrows knit together trying to look angry as if they were fighting the quiver in her lip. She spoke in a voice that tried to be detached and matter-of-fact::
Kate: I hope you know I'll be making sure your stay in detention for the next few months is your own personal fiery hell. That goes for Ierys too... where is she?

::Kerion sits and waits in the study for Lillith to show up. His crew, along with Gideon, split up to look around the Garden. Gwen was also in the same room, but in a different spot. He forgone his over coat as last time he hung it on one of the coat hooks, the weight of it caused it to crash to the ground. The reason his heavy clothing hasn't made the chair under him broken is because of the anti-grav device he's wearing on his wrist.::
((OOC: What the device does is it makes its wearer lighter, not enough to affect gravity fully. But enough for Kerion to do things like a normal person can))

::Rose wasted no time leading them all inside, and contibuted their somber moods to hunger and quickly rushed off to the kitchen with Shaft behind her. Lillith waited led Iole and Oliver to the break room. Iole took a place on the hearth of the fireplace, keeping her back turned to them. Oliver she led to an armchair and sat him down. The lack of resistance he put up was unnerving to her. Normally when he was upset she knew he would have stormed off somewhere to be alone and clear his head, but he was dead-weight at the moment, and his shoulders looked heavier than they had ever been::
I'll be right back. Just going to talk to an old friend. Iole, could you...
::But Iole was as helpful as Oliver, barely giving her a glance over her shoulder before looking back at the fire. Lillith gave up and made her way to the study, doing everything she could to straighten herself and put on a good face for Kerion. It didn't work out so well, and she imagined she still looked a little haggard. Nevertheless, she entered the study with dignity, strode right past the rest of the crew, and threw her arms around Kerion in a hug so tight that he was suddenly grateful he had taken off his coat. She would have cracked a couple of ribs with his own body armor::
Kerion my old friend. How are you?
(OOC: Gah! Where's Kenny! He must be here to meet Gwen! This has the potential of being hilarious! Or really sad and unnerving....)

Oh never better. So what brings you here?

My my Lilly, after all these years you're as dainty as you ever were.
::Lillith froze at the accented voice that slithered from the corner. Without hesitation, Lillith spun and threw a shaft of lightning into at the pale phantom that could not possibly be there. But Guinevere sat in the armchair in the corner near the bookshelves as plain as day, back in the red silk finery of her long evening gown. Lillith's lightning stopped at her hand and fizzeled out of existence::
Now Lilly, is that any way to greet an old friend?

::Lillith's green eyes were wide and her hair hung in her face::
How are you... what are you...
::She pointed an accusing finger at the ghost of her past:::
I don't care how you got here. Just get the hell out of my house!

::Kerion sighs as he sees Lillith's reaction, expecting something like this:: "I brought her here." he said, but before she could rant, he cut her off. "She said something big is coming, but wouldn't tell me what unless the some of the heroes have gathered. Though she can move freely, I've been watching her like a hawk. And if she steps out of line. ::He pulls out what appears to be a tranquilizer dart:: I managed to reproduce that serum used to subdue a sorceress' power, but made some changes. One dose of this and she'll be powerless forever. ::Puts the dart away:: About what you asked earlier, I'm sorry to say but this isn't a social visit. I'm here looking for Iole. However, it isn't for Gwen but for another, an elf from Freya."

"Chocking - dying - need air." Clive choked out in a wheeze as his friends greeted him, more warming than he had imagined. Figured for sure something would of been thrown at him, or least questions concerning his manhood - something. He was almost unsure how to respond to it. When released from their embrace, he gasped for air and shook his head, recuperating. He looked to all three, mixed with happiness and glum.
"Hey guys, kinda surprised to see you come out to greet me. I for sure thought my cockroach army would of consumed you by now without me to keep em in check - this does not bode well." He mused, "Yeah..." Awkwardly spoken, "About Ierys, long story, I'll tell you inside."

(OOC: Wow, how did Kerion pull off something like that? That guy in Dali have anything to do with that?)
You brought her to my house?! Are you insane? I don't care what your reasons are, bringing that woman to my house is inexcusable! And now you're telling me you brought a Freyan here? That world has spelled nothing but trouble for this one since Natalia came! Kerion... to my house of all places!

::Casually Gwen cracked the knuckles of each finger individually, not even looking directly at the confrontation. To anyone watching, it would appear as though the pale sorceress weren't part of it at all::
My, my Lilly, has all these years of being a hero hardened your heart to such a degree? You're treating this poor Freyan the same way our own kind is treated. What does that make you?

::Lillith rounded on Guinevere again::
Don't you DARE compare the two of us Witch!
::A second shaft of lightning shot from Lillith's hand, but this one came in a stream that didn't let up. With one hand, Gwen blocked it, and just let its magic absorb into her, surprisingly looking more bored than anything::

::The Witch of Storms unleashed her attack on her long time enemy while the Witch of Webs took it all in stride. Then in a flash, a glint of metal swung directly into the center of the lightning stream in a strange flick of the wrist motion. The lightning was cleaved in half like a snapped rubber band and both ends retracted into their respective hosts, Lillith's half being called back and forcing her to take a few steps back, and Gwen's being sucked into her hand like a vacuum. Gideon stood in the center with his blade down in front of him::
Now can we please discuss this as civilized beings would?
::He turned his calm blue-gray eyes to Lillith::
My apologies for bringing such an esteemed enemy into your home, but I'm afraid they were the only leads I had at the time. Kerion at least assured me he was an old friend of yours. In spite of the offense, I don't believe you should hold it against him. Friends are growing fewer in our time.

::Lillith narrowed her eyes at the newcomer out of habit. His long ears gave him away as Freyan, but she had expected something closer to Natalia. But rather than the aura of cold and unease the Demon Witch had seemed to instill in everyone around her, this strange pale elf had an odd calming quality about him::
And you are?

Gideon Lightfeather.
::The elf said plainly as he sheathed his sword in the scabbard strapped to his back::
Forgive us for arriving on such short notice, but as Kerion has said, this business is urgent.
Gwen: Yes we need to see Iole. It's--
::Gideon raised a hand and cut her off::
You'll get your turn Witch.
::Guinevere's face soured::
Miss Lillith, if you would please inform Iole we need to speak with her.
::Lillith hesitated again, but the way he addressed Gwen seemed to have garnered some respect from her. Lillith reached for the intercom stationed near one of the armchairs::
Lillith: Iole, you're needed in here. Bring Oliver with you if you must. And don't overreact.

(OOC: Loci it's up to you if Oliver follows Iole in here)
::In a short amount of time, Iole made her way to the study. She froze in the doorway and her eyes turned cold and malignant as they landed on the three newcomers::
Oh this day just keeps getting better and better. Three people who have tried to kill me have come to pay me a visit. Hello again Cyclops, Old Man, Hag.
::Gideon rolled his eyes::
Gideon: Oh good it's not just me, you have cute little nic-names for everyone.
::Iole ignored him and turned her gaze on Kerion::
I think I'll start with you. What the hell are you doing here. I thought I made it clear in Lindblum I never wanted to see you again.

"I'm not here by choice Iole." He replied. "Gideon here is looking for Nyx, and I figured she would be with you. And since Gwen also said something big is going to happen sometime soon, we need everyone we can find. Frankly, I knew you were going to act like this, I even told Gideon that you still won't forgive me for what happened between us."

::Iole huffed::
Oh now I feel all kinds of bad for being so mean. Let me spell this out for you again. You--tried--to--kill--me... twice!
::Lillith quickly averted her gaze and hissed something out of the corner of her mouth::
Lillith: Well I must have missed more in Lindblum than I thought.

"And as I said. I. Had. No. Choice." he replied. "They had Maria and if I didn't do what they said, they would of killed her! And when you said I could of went to you or the others for help, I couldn't. They had me under surveillance ever since the police station was destroyed. If I did went to you or the others for help, that would be signing her death warrant. Though that didn't excuse the first shot I took..." ::He then walks to the door:: "I'm heading out for a smoke..." ::He closes the door behind him::: Gods know I need it to clear my head and not do or say something rash to make this situation anymore worse than it already is.
