As Kenny stood back just like Oliver told him he was listening to what Oliver was saying to Gwen as he was still shaken with fright by seeing Gwen alive and at his and his wifes home. He wonder where is Lillith in all this as he was then told by Gwen to help bring Kerion to the study so that she can heal him up as he did not say a word for now. He was then met by his sister Iole who told him not to worry about Gwen at all as he watched her leave and now he did not know what to do for now as he needed to let his wife know that she was here but was too afraid to move.

::Gideon watched Iole leave, feeling about as much compassion for her as Gwen had. But instead of returning to the study to keep his steely eyes on the sorceress, he went to Oliver, keeping his distance. He'd seen what the young man could do when his wilder side took over::
Long time no see friend. Want to talk?
::When Oliver didn't respond initially he didn't expect anything less::
Trust me, I know what betrayal tastes like. Kind of salty with a twinge of horse crap?
(OOC: Yeah I kind of said they knew each other in Kerion's thread)

Kenny slowly begin to move and saw the fallen body of Kerion and was not certain if he should trust Gwen at all but there was nothing he can do for now with his wife probably busy in a conversation as he picked him up for now and head over to the study. "Ok here, just liked you said now heal him up please" Kenny said to Gwen still trying not to see her fearing that she would probably try to take him away from his married life.

::Guinevere is nothing short of disgusted to find Kenny cringing away from him like a kicked dog::
Lilly knows I'm here if that makes you feel any better. Please what kould I possibly do to you now?
::She rummaged through the satchel at her side and pulled out some herbs::
I'm going to need you to hold his arms down. These may burn.
::She softened a little as he bent to help her::
I'm sorry... I shouldn't be taking things out on you. There's enough of that going around right now. But... Kenny we were at least friends once. Kould you try not to akt like I'm going to bite you?
::She stared down, and the phoenix pendant she had stolen all those years ago hung plain for all to see from her neck::
I really didn't mean to hurt you so... Kan you really blame me for falling for you?

Oliver glanced over to Gideon for a brief moment, then in a huff turned his head away and crossed his arms. Man had balls, for sure, to approach Oliver when he was in a state like this - thankfully, Oliver was quickly calming down as he mentally sorted out this flood of emotion and information that befell him the last few hours. Though the two of them had a working relationship, there was still a tinge of apprehension lingering between the two over Iole and his relationship. Oliver's natural protection instinct always made him step lightly around Gideon, watching his moves and motives with just an air of suspicion.
"Is t'at so, Gideon. Did ye stallion c'eat on ye wit' a mare again? Gotta keep t'e reign on 'im better." He sputtered out, snidely. "No, I don't want to ta'k about it. T'ere's been enoug' ta'king today - h'alf t'e reason for all t'is bloody fig'ting. Start'in to feel 'ike I'm in some damnable soap on the vid-sphere."

::Gideon chuckled::
Being as old as I am, the horses make more sense than the people these days.
::He nodded::
I understand. But if you're wise, you won't wait until morning to talk to her.
::He sighed and turned to make sure no one was watching. Gods forbid Iole should hear him right now::
Look I don't know her as well as you do, but we both know that Iole isn't cruel on a whim. I'm sure she had a reason. Was it right? No. But I know she didn't do it to hurt you.

"No doubt." Oliver retorted. "An' I don't p'an to wait t'at ti'l t'en, just need to collect myse'f an' figure out how I want to approach 'er. Ye a soldier, ye know about planning an approach. No difference between love and war, except t'e number of peop'e t'at may try'in kill ye." He chuckled to himself - it was a stupid analogy.
He looked to where Iole had departed, staring for longer than a standard moment. "T'at's w'at I've been try'in to figure out. If s'e wasn't try'in to 'urt me, t'en w'y on Gaia or Freya wou'd ye say somet'ing like t'at." He grunted and spat on the ground. "'ever understand women."

I am a soldier. And I've been one for a very long time. Believe me when I say that Love and War are nothing alike. She is not your enemy.
::He sighed::
But what does an old man like me know. I could never begin to explain what goes on in that head of hers. Do what you have to do. I'll be keeping an eye on the Witch.
::He stopped and called out once more over his shoulder::
By the way, that accent of yours? Made learning this language near impossible.

::At last the hallway was clear, but the ghosts of what had transpired as well as a trail of Kerion's blood still lingered there. Gideon returned to the study and leaned against the wall with his arms folded. Lillith came in from the stairwell that connected to her office. She yawned as she pulled her hair away from her face. The first thing she saw was her husband::
Oh good Kenny, you're back. I was starting to worry. Could you go check on Simon for me? I just got a call from Vincent. He said he'd be...
::She trailed off as she took in the rest of what was going on; Kerion's face looking swollen and mauled, Gwen applying healing herbs to his face, Kenny holding his arms down and looking at her with eyes that were pleading for an explanation, and Gideon watching it all in silence::
Yeah you know what, I'm just going to bed. Good night.
::She left the study and headed straight for the stairs. Kenny was the man of the house. It was his turn to deal with the madness::

It seemed that Kenny was now beside himself his wife was looking for him to do an errand which seemed pretty simple and that was to check on there son. However when Lillith saw him helping out Gwen with healing Kerion it seemed that she was already too tired to even speak as she left for bed as Kenny did hear the part of checking Simon as he sighed and continue to help Gwen by holding Kerion's arms down for her to apply the herbs. He then begin to speak to her but he didnt felt scared at all or felt shaky as he felt he should at least speak to her for now. "It is true that we were..friends." he said as he remember when Gwen took a liking to him when she and the coven were living here when Sorceress was still alive. "You actually were, nice to me" Kenny could not believe that this witch whom was all a threat to him and his friends did have a side that only he seemed to noticed that was so different. He then saw something familiar that he thought he would never really see at all which was the present he gave Lillith when he propose to her the day Sorceress died. "Lilliths gift. You...stole it?"

Yes.
::She said it as though it should have been expected::
That night was interesting. After everything I had done, I was still mad enough to believe I'd be walking away arm in arm with a Knight in Shining armor. I still don't know what made me keep it all these years after I lost my memory. I kould give it bakk I suppose.
::She reached for its clasp, but she stopped::
Well that's not entirely true. I know why I kept it. When I washed ashore after that night, I didn't remember who I was. I was taken into the abbey as a nun. I kould barely remember part of my name. The only thing I was sure of was that whoever I was in the past had to have been selfish and unhappy. Why else would no one kome looking for me? But they told me I had been klinging to this pendant for dear life, so I knew it had to belong to someone important to me. It assured me that the place I had kome from hadn't been all bad. I know it's a selfish request, but if you kould let me keep it, it would mean the world to me.

Kenny did gave Lillith the pendant as a present and a sign of his true love for her when he did propose and he wanted to be mad at Gwen for stealing it away however he did remember when he breifly died after he was torn between both Gwen and Lillith that Lillith didnt need the pendant only him and that was all. He listened to Gwen's story of what happened and how she lost her memory and yet she clinged onto the pendant for life. Although he lost the pendant he did eventually gave Lillith a ring when they finally did tied the knot. He then walked to Gwen and looked at her close up as he begin to respond. "Gwen, you may keep the pendant if you please. If it means so much to you its alright with me." he said wondering how Gwen will respond

::Gwen closed her eyes::
Then there must still be hope for me yet, if someone as kind as you kan hold pity for a Witch like me.
::Gideon rolled his eyes in the corner::
Gideon: His wife is in the next room.

Kenny wasn't really sure if he did the right thing but it seemed that he might have done something good in letting Gwen have the pendant to keep. He did hear someone that was unfamiliar to him remind Gwen that Kenny was indeed married being that Lillith was still in the next room. "Gwen, maybe you will find the right man who would be nice and respective to you all i can say for advice is never give up in finding the right one." he said to the witch that was truly once his friend.

Yes... well.
::Gwen regain composure. She was after all a high-born lady. It wouldn't do for her to get all sentimental when there was a job to be done::
For right now let's worry about this one.
::She pressed her hands against Kerion's face, rubbing the herbs into it. Then her hands began to glow as she sent some of her energy through them. The herbal remedy began to glow hot red and Kerion began to thrash. Even unconcious, it took some strength on Kenny's part to hold him down. But afterwards, he lay still. Gwen sighed, the healing process having taken a toll on her::
Quickly, get me a damp kloth and a glass of water.
(OOC: This is good. Now Kenny won't be haunted by Gwen anymore. Or at least he won't have any fears of her destroying his family. And that is how you spell closure!)

((OOC: It's really surprising how it closes with her being really caring))
Kenny did his best in helping Gwen out in healing up Kerion with the herbs as he did his best in holding him down while she applied the herbs to him. When Kerion shooked a bit from the effects Kenny can feel the impact as he hold the body down so that nothing bad can happen. Afterwards he noticed Gwen feeling a bit tired out as she asked for a cloth and water. As fast as he can he got the water and the cloth as he was really surprised that he was actually helping Gwen and not fighting her at all. "Here you go, are you ok?"

(OOC: It's a good ending for them. There's really nothing she can do now that he and Lillith are married with a son. But it means a lot to her that they can part on good terms)
::Gwen downed the water quickly and then used the cloth to rub the herbs from Kerion's face. His face was red and raw, and hot to the touch, but the wounds had closed up and the blood was gone::
I'm fine. He just needs to rest.
::Yet another set of footsteps entered the study and fiery red-head stood in the doorway::
Anya: What the hell is going on here?! I let you out of my sight for one hour and you seduce him?
Gideon: It's not what it looks like, she's healing him.
Anya: Healing him from what?
Gideon: It's a long story. Anyway, why should you be so concerned if they were having a little private time?
Anya: Be--b--because it's unprofessional that's what it is! Besides I still don't trust her.
::Gwen rose from her seat quickly, letting Kerion's head thunk none too gently onto the sofa she'd laid him across::
Gwen: If you're so koncerned for his well being, you look after him. He's all yours. The stink of his blood and lies are making me sikk anyway. I think I'll just retire for the night. Rose was kind enough to show me where I'd be sleeping. Good night Kenny.
::Her pale fingers grazed his shoulder one last time. Perhaps it was the after effects of the spell, but for the first time he could remember, Guinevere's fingers felt warm. Gideon called after her as she ghosted down the hall to her quarters::
Gideon: I'll be down the hall if you need anything.
::Though that sounded more like a threat than anything else::

Kenny looked on as It seemed that Gwen did her best as it seemd that the herbs did its job and that Kerion was on the way to being fully recovered though he needed rest on the couch. Suddenly there was an interuption by the one called Anya as the man he did not know explained to her about what happened to Kerion and that Gwen was now feeling tired out as she left to go to sleep but not before she told him goodnight. "Good night" he said as he watched her leave the room to go to sleep as he realized he must go do his other errand as he looked to the other girl called Anya. "I have to go check up on Simon, can you please look after the fallen Kerion please" he asked her

::Anya glowered as everyone left her alone with her employer and called to no one in particular::
Anya: What am I? His frickin' nurse maid?
::In spite of her initial anger, she sat herself down on the couch near him, arms folded and fuming. She slapped the crown of his head, albeit lightly::
Anya: Idiot.
(OOC: Yeah that sounds like a good way to end the thread. We can pick it up the following morning with Vincent's arrival!)
