::The Regent's forces are preparing for the coming assault, inevitable with last night's push. But they're so focused on what's ahead of them that nobody thinks about what's above them. A white eagle with black tipped wings circles above them, getting a feel of the terrain as well as their numbers and resources::
(OOC: Okay I'll leave it to you to lay that out for me)

Below Iole, she spies a detachment of medium size, scattered throughout the residential districts streets. Barricades are set up on the roads, and many of the homes appear to be housing soldiers as well as weapons. Citizens look to be actively assisting the Guard in various capacities, from food, to basic care for the injured and other comforts. There's a helicopter gun-ship circling the area and that alone appears to be their only air support. There's a few armored vehicles in the streets as well. Tensions look high and moral dwindling rabidly, but their dug in and the streets are well fortified.

::She has to act fast, and she's not too keen on becoming a flying target for their helicopter so that becomes her first target. The eagle screeches, its call deepening to a deafening roar as she grows in size until the white dragon soars over the city street. The pilot doesn't have time to turn once the thing is on his radar, and he doesn't see the jet of blue flames come out of nowhere to streak for his ship. She doesn't have time to worry if he survived the crash. All she knows is that she has forty-five minutes to do as much damage as she can. She swoops lower to aim her fiery breath at the footsoldiers next. Their ranks are blown back by her blast. Next she veers left towards one of the buildings. A few years ago this might have gravely injured her, but the dragon inside her has matured since then, its hide toughening immensely. The dragon crashes through the lower level of the first building where the soldiers have fortified themselves. She emerges out the other side in a great cloud of dust as the building starts crumbling::

Surprised, frightened and scattering the Guard on the ground scramble away from the dragon. Firing wildly into the air at the beast in vain attempts as they flee. The armored vehicles open fire as well as they roll away, firing larger rounds at dragon, each with loud pops and cracks. A rocket fires past Iole's head, launched wildly by a scared soldier from a nearby rooftop.
The explosions, gun fire, and chaos has assuredly alerted the area to the attack and it can be assumed that the LPA camp has heard the chaos as well.

::Iole follows through with her assault, using her breath to create a barrier of fire, cutting off the guard's escape. Then she decides she's done as much damage as she could in her window of time. The only heavy artillery in their possession had been dealt with and their ranks were scattered and frightened. They were no longer in fortified positions. It was up to the LPA forces now. Her form shrinks back into the white eagle she had been when she came. She returns to fly above the LPA's advancing ranks where the glint off Oliver's goggles catches her eyes. She swoops down and changes back into her regular form, falling in step next to Oliver. Over the din of the panic ahead of them, and the steady clanking and stomping of their own boots and weapons, no one can hear Iole when she leans over to spook Oliver::
Miss me?

Oliver looks to Iole, shocked, while Sid sits there as he always does, unwavering and still as they stand beside the tank they had just jumped off.
"W'at t'e bloody hells ye doin' Iole? We lost ye at t'e camp and... oh you did'in?"
"She did." Sid chimes in.
The scene ahead is that of pandemonium. The first wave of civilian soldiers meet little resistance, and what they do is well routed and in a state of shock and chaos. They are dispatched quickly, yet, the LPA soldiers move in shock at the damage done to the entrenched soldiers. The civilians scream in fear about sightings of a dragon that attacked and appear almost thankful that LPA have arrived and made the beast disappear.

::Iole gives Oliver an innoccent smile::
There, see? They're all screaming about a dragon coming to attack them. Now do I look like a dragon to you?

"Miss innoce't here, yeah, sure." Oliver states, looking at her with a scolding eye. "Need to do t'at more often. Save t'e rest of us t'e trouble."
Meanwhile Connolly and the other officers survey the scene, throwing out theories and other possibilities, Connolly remains distinctly quiet. It's soon there-after comes to light that a team of media had been embedded with the Guard in this sector and caught the entire 'dragon' attack on video and pictures. With this bit of news, Connolly approaches Iole and the others, acting as it just stating a fact and not directed at Iole herself.
"If you hadn't heard, a media team was embedded here. They caught footage of the supposed 'dragon' attack. Seems we got something of PR battle now, isn't that just fun?"

::Iole rolls her eyes::
Oodles. So are we done here then? Looks like our albatross did the work for us.
(OOC: Okay I think I finally came up with a reasonable alibi as to why she doesn't go dragon for every battle. One, she'd be a huge target for heavy artillery and the ShinRa jets. Two, Natalia isn't around to protect her anymore, and if the other side knew it was her, it would be all too tempting to put a bullet through her head during her down time while she's in her more vulnerable form)

"We finish securing this area and wait for further orders, I want regular street patrols and everyone of these houses checked for any pockets. Speak with your squad and division leaders for further orders, we're drawing them up as we speak." Connolly addresses Oodles and the others. "For now, set up a parameter and secure this immediate area, get on it."

::Iole sits beside Oliver where they were assigned, awaiting further orders::
Heh, looks like we dodged that bullet. GNN's going with the story that the dragon was here looking for a mate. Guess they didn't know she already had one.
::She laughs a little at her own bad joke, then her smile fades to concern and realization::
Wait, it was on GNN? Oh no I hope Eva didn't see that. If she found out how in the dark I'm keeping her she'd...
::Her face reddends suddenly::
Nevermind.

"A mate? Heh..." If Oliver could blush through fur, he would be right now. Then he perks up and changes the subject "Does t'e Garden get TV?" He asks, curious as possible problem strikes him. "W'at if Lillith saw the broad'ast? Ugh..." He sighs. "If she fin's out'bout me now."

::As if to confirm her fears, she feels the small mirror in her pocket go off. She winces as she pulls it out::
If you could just... excuse me a moment.
::She moves elsewhere to speak to whoever's contacted her a little more privately. After a few moments, Oliver hears her breathe a sigh of relief::
Well if it isn't my favorite sister-in-law.
::Oliver can make out a very familiar voice over the mirror::
Lillith: Oh so to my face I'm your favorite, but everywhere else I'm The Old Crow.
Don't be ridiculous. I've called you that to your face before.
Lillith: ::sigh:: You know, in my line of work I need to be prepared for almost anything. But I'll admit that Simon jumping up and down in the break room pointing and screaming "Mommy look, Auntie's on TV" isn't something I was prepared for.
Oh you saw that huh?

Oliver facepalms and growls to himself as he sits beside the blown out wall they had rested against.
Sid walks by and seeing this, asks what's the problem.
"Oh don't ask, jus'don't. Long story, it is. About to get'chew'd out here by someone."
Sid just shrugs and carries on.

::Iole returns and hands the mirror to Oliver::
It's for you. I didn't say anything.
::On the surface, those cat-like green eyes are as penetrating to him as always, and even through the tiny mirror they make him feel ten years old again::
Lillith: Well at least now I know why you haven't been returning my letters.

I wish you had told me. I haven't heard from you since the revolution started. I can understand the lack of communication with everything going on over there, but nothing? Not one letter? Do you have any idea how worried I've been?

Well then I guess you and Iole being in the same spot just gave us a pretty good chance. You and her can come straight here so you and I can talk face to face. It's not open for discussion Oliver. Remember you're not a legal adult yet and I still have lawful custody of you.
