::He was in darkness, whirling in and out of nothing. He began to take form. Sensations tickled the new born skin that grew on new bones. The feel of water rushed through what was now hair.
His eyes opened, and he noted he was under water and quickly running out of breath. Noticing he was kneeling on the beach immersed in water, he stood up and emerged. He took in the fresh air, gasping for the the fresh air. He coughed violently, the struggle to breath was a welcomed challenged, for he had not taken a breath in a very long time::
"It..." *breath* "worked!"
::His arms shot up in excitement::
"IT WORKED! HA HA!!!"
::He wanted to jump, but was too tired and exhausted. A temporary limitation::
"ELTON! It worked! I'm back! I have returned!"
::He was almost crying. The feelings of the wind, the sand, the water... all were welcome. Coming from a world with no touch, no feeling, this was surely a blessing::
"Thank you, everyone. I'll never forget you all."
::Crohan staggered to his feet, and began to limp off::
"I've got work to do"

::Crohan stumbledthrough the sand, practically dragging his legs. He was so weak, unstable, barely able to move.
And it was a blessed feeling. To be in control of a body again. An identical body at that. Maybe he wasn't as strong or as sharp on his training like he was before his death, but that meant nothing to him. He was freed. He was alive.
And with that life, a new burden was placed upon his shoulders. Words had been echoing in his head. Words that were whisphered to him before he came back to this world
You're needed, Crohan. Those living people in the world could not continue their lives unless someone somewhere made a sacrifice.
So you're just going to go back to die again?! I won't let you!
Why should we send you back if you're going to put your life at risk again?!
For every era the world existed, a sacrifice had been made to keep it going.
What is a sacrifice? Giving one thing up for something better, way better. That's what I'm going to do. A sacrifice.
His life, sweat, blood, and dedication had been for this world, for its people. It had cost him his life once, and it might again. But it was a sacrifice he was willing to make.
He continued on and on, until he collapsed exhausted::

When you return, you will not be as strong as you once were. You will be practically naked. You won't remember much about the incident that killed you, and your memory of us will fade.
::Although Crohan collapsed, he was resting peacefully on the sandy shore. Dreaming about what had happened as it slowly faded into the deep cracks and holes of his memory. Images disappeared and voices faded.
He was in a vast open green field, with a deep blue sky, staring at various people passing by nonchalantly. Old friends from his first life. He knew he could reach one of them, where ever they might be, he would reach them through this vision. One face stared back at him, and he smiled. He was staring into the face of a trusted friend::
"She'll help me out"
::He reached out and touched the image of Rainii Loire::

::Rainii lands her airship, and somewhat cautiously steps off the ship. Maybe she had been hoping too much, maybe that dream didn't mean anything...She wanders the beach, eyes searching for that familiar figure.::
I hope I didn't just imagine it. I really hope.
::It's when she's about to give up that she spots someone laying on the beach, a little ways from where she is. She runs over to him, stopping about a foot away.::
That is not possible. It can't....How...I don't...understand how...

::Crohan, still dreaming, smiled when he released his hand from the image of Rainii. He was still in the field of green, overlooked by the perfect blue sky. He let him self drop onto the soft grass, and dosed off.
Crohan's newly formed body twitched. Eyes still unopened. A faint smile crept along his face. Although he wasn't quite awake yet, he knew Rainii would be there soon if she wasn't there already. He continued sleeping, feeling the wind rush through his hair. The sensations of the ocean, the sand, the wind, the sounds, where so relaxing that he could not resist falling asleep a little longer. Even if someone hauled him off somewhere, he probably would not wake up.::

::She just stares at him for a moment, kind of in shock. It takes her a few minutes to shake it off, and remember where she was.::
Ah. The beach. Right.
::She looks down at Crohan again.::
This probably isn't the best place for him. Need to move him. Ok...
::She thinks for a moment, knowing full well that she really could not carry him. Then she remembers something.::
Or I could...use magic. That works for me!
::As carefully as she can manage, she uses her magic make him a little lighter, and then half carries him onto the airship. Once they're on the airship, she lays him down on a row of seats, then moves over to the pilots seat.::
I'll take him home...
::The airship takes off, heading for Esthar.::
