I've been crushed, grounded, broken, surgically repaired, and electrically tortured the past 60 days.
No, I'm not kidding.
Stupid cinder block walls falling on people. I'll give you the details later, gotta go. I posted my return in Edea's orphanage for all to read. Chow!

Yeah I got all the get well wishes. Thanks everyone. I thought that was super cool. So I think I owe it to you all to explain why I had returned early and what exactly happened. Here's the low-down: Two cinder-block walls walls had fallen down on me and pinned me down on the ground for about thirty minutes. I had landed on my left side on a concrete foundation while the two walls dog-piled on my right side. There was also a big brick that was digging into my lower back while I was down. So when the firemen removed the walls (using an airjack and FIFTEEN men), I was rushed to the hospital. I was transported to the local hospital, who then transported me to the British Hospital in the capitol city, Montevideo. They found the following:
Multiple fractures in the pelvis Fractures in the spine (no nerve damage) Fractures in the tailbone a hairline fracture in the femur Intestines and colon had opened up A loss in blood (I lost a total of 8 pints)
Right now I cannot walk. There was nerve damage in the plexus lumbar (a group of nerves located directly above each leg which controls your leg movement), and now I am without walking ability. I will be for awhile. The doctors are optimistic, and with a little luck I'll be walking around in a year or so.
BUT I'M ALIVE
So I was sent home after being hospitalized in South America for 40 days.
ONE 20 HOUR PLANE RIDE LATER
I'm home. I've been home for about 2 weeks now, so I think I'm ready to kill some time on the board.

Still, good news is you're alive and around. I'm sure you knew we missed ya around here.
(This is Laguna, by the way. Couldn't remember if you knew about the Julie account or not...)
