::August calmly sets down his pen in the fold of his journal and closes the book over it. He picks it up and places it inside his vest and without turning around sets his own dagger upon the desk beside him, in plain view for Lillith and Cronus to see.::
So, you are the two she has sent? Funny, she wouldn’t be here to do it herself… or is it that she knows her kind are just weak against me? Well, no use analyzing the situation at this point.
::He stands, pushing his chair out with him. He rests both his hands on the desk’s surface, breaking only to adjust his glasses.::
I must warn you, I will protect the knowledge I have.
::From behind Lillith and Cronus, in the hall, there comes a low growl from a displacer beast.::
So will she… and many of her kin that reside in this lion’s den.

::Cronus turns around and grabs the displacer beast in her massive hand by the throat and twists its neck until it snaps. Then she tosses it aside like a rag doll::
Cronus: You're not the only one who knows how to get the drop on demons.
::Lillith says nothing, but the dagger in her hand starts to spark with her lightning. When its fully charged she sends a bolt flying out of it, but it doesn't hit August. Instead it hits the window behind him, shattering it to bits. In a surprising display of finesse, Lillith casts a silencing spell at the same time to stifle the sound of the explosion. The broken bits of glass hover in the air as if falling in slow motion::
Lillith: I'm not going to kill for her anymore. I didn't come here to kill you, but I can still do so very easily if you're not careful. But you must know something she doesn't want found out. That's why I'm taking you with me.
::She points the knife toward the shattered window::
Lillith: You first.

:Kenny went walking around the hall trying to think about stuff when he heard voices ahead. He recognized one voice as Lillith and realize she was doing something. He then headed towards where Lillith was and he saw her talking with the man who released the large beast from Timber earlier and realized that something was up:

::August's expression turns rather sour when Cronus kills the displacer beast.::
I rather liked her...
::He then looks to the shattered window, raising a brow and adjusts his glasses.::
Also you could of just opened it? I'd figure that would be too difficult a concept for Cronus but you, Lillith, are far smarter then that. By the way, your tone, almost makes you sound like the devil herself.
::With a cocky smirk, he walks away from the desk, taking his dagger with him and planting it in his belt. He walks to his bed, picks up his black bag and quickly slides the contents of papers and books from his bed into it before shutting it close and turning around.::
Before we go, there is one matter I must attend to for I cannot leave till I know. Lillith or Cronus, are you familiar with the book the demon has. She incorrectly calls it Book of the Twilight, I must know of its location. I cannot continue my studies further till I see it.

::Lillith smiles at August's remark about the window::
Lillith: What's wrong? I thought you liked a little danger.
::They here footsteps from nearby, drawing closer. They're obviously not from a demon, but they might as well be. Guinevere strides gracefully into the room::
Guinevere: What have we here? A kouple of traitors in our midst.
Lillith: Damn. Get out of here. We have the situation under control. He's just being a little feisty, that's all.
Guinevere: Oh save it. Do you think I'm a fool? You didn't think anyone would find it odd that those parasites in Timber mirakulously escaped just before we launched our attakk? I should turn you in to our lady right now. Or maybe I'll just kill you here and do all of us a favor.
::Lillith moves quickly, sending another lightning attack from her palm. Guinevere catches it in her hand::
Guinevere: Tsk tsk Lillith. Now look what you've done.
::The pale witch throws it back at the younger soreress, adding her own power to intensify it. Lillith wrenches her eyes shut and braces for the impact, but it never comes. Cronus has stepped in front of them and blocked the spell with her fist::
Cronus: Time to go.
Lillith: Cronus--
Cronus: Go on Lil. I can handle this princess.
Guinevere: Oh no. I'm quaking in my boots.
::The big witch looks back at August for a moment::
Cronus: Forget about your damn book. If you stay a minute longer you're a dead man. She never bothered to hide things from me because she thought I was too stupid to understand them. She's been preparing to get you out of the picture for awhile now. And she knows you're after her book. If you really were as smart as you think you are you would have gotten the hell out of here by now. We could have snapped your neck or fried your flesh right here, and don't act like we couldn't. But Lillith chose to spare you, so in return you'll follow her and get her out of here whether she wants to or not, or I'll break your back over my knee, you understand?
::Lillith looks in desperation from her companion to their enemy::
Lillith: What do you mean?
Cronus: I mean I want you to go Lillith. Don't argue with me. For once, listen to your big sister.
Lillith: But--
Cronus: GO!
::She stamps her foot and sends both August and Lillith flying out the window to land on the ground below::

:As Kenny was hearing the conversation going on between the man known as August and Lillith he heard footsteps so he hid from a corner in the hallway for now and he then heard the voice of Guinevere and was scared a bit. It seemed she was not pleased at Lillith as she called her a traitor and was about to strike when he heard the voice of Cronus talking telling Lillith to go now. Kenny trembled a bit as he saw Lillith and August flew out the window and noticed an open window from where he hid and with that he quielty climbed out the window hoping to find Lillith as he quietly spoke to himself.:
"Just like she said, try to be brave"

::Lillith stands below the window where she was just thrown, screaming in panic::
Lillith: Cronus! CRONUS! Get out of there!
::She's bound to be found and killed sooner or later, if not by one of the coven, than by one of the demons wandering nearby, lurking in the darkness::
::Meanwhile, in the manor the confrontation between Cronus and Guinevere continues::
Guinevere: Such a shame it had to end like this. You both had such promise. What I kan't understand is why you and her would betray your kind? Why would you turn your back on everything we stood for?
Cronus: I never stood for anything with you. I stood by, and for Lillith and her alone. She hasn't turned her back on anything. She's just realized that what she fights for is not the same thing as what you're fighting for anymore. You've become more of a monster than those creatures outside. You stand for nothing but vengeance and more bloodshed.
Guinevere: Well aren't we preachy today. I'd tell you to save your sermon, but I'm afraid you aren't going to live to see another Sunday. And after I'm through with you, I'll be sure to dismantle your little sister piece by piece.
Cronus: I don't think so. I may not make it out of this room alive, but at least I can take you with me, WITCH!
::Stone forms around Cronus' fist like a gauntlet as she throws a well executed punch for Guinevere's face. But just as it's about to connect with it's target, Guinevere steps to the side, clenching Conus' thick wrist in her own pale hand. The rocks fall from her hand as her strength is ebbed away bit by bit::
Guinevere: Don't worry Kronus. You'll be with your little sister again soon. And just before I kill her, I'll remind her just who wasn't there to save her.
::As Cronus gets weaker, Guinevere gets stronger, tightening her grip until she feels that her arm is about to snap::
Cronus: Lillith... I'm sorry. You'll have to fight for the both of us now.
::Cronus' great powerful frame starts to shrink as she seems to age rapidly. Her skin starts to shrivel and her hair turns dull and gray. When Guinevere releases her at last, Cronus falls to the marble floor, dead before she even hits it::

:The Last thing Kenny saw of Cronus was that she confronting Guinevere and suddeny he saw Cronus aged rapidly and was scared but held back tears as he scaled around and found Lillith on the ground as he began to drop on the ground next to her with a tear in his eye.:

Lillith: Kenny... you're... Where's Cronus?
::When he hesitates she grabs him by his shirt and shakes him, growing more manic by the second::
Lillith: Kenny, where's my sister?!

:Kenny knew he had to tell Lillith as he held back tears as he placed his hands on her shoulders and began to shake his head in sadness: "I'm sorry Lillith, she was too powerful for Cronus. I'm sorry, she somehow sapped Cronus's energy and then I heard Cronus said that she was sorry and that you'll have to fight for you and her."

::August attempts to calm Lillith, placing his hand on her shoulder as he looks up at the window they just escaped through.::
Don't fret for long, for the sacrifice of the one has saved the many. Perhaps I misjudged your sister after all, I am sorry. Come, we must flee while we still can.
::August turns around, draws his dagger and cuts three lines in the air with it. A doorway forms in the air before them and August waits for them to enter before following.::

(OOC: Wow, don't really see that side of August very often).
::Lillith feels as though her whole body is numb. She doesn't even feel herself let go of Kenny and start moving toward the portal. Doesn't even feel the tears streaming down her face. The only thing that does seem real now is her resolve::
Lillith: You were right Leah. They're all monsters and they have to be stopped. I will kill them. They will be stopped. I'll see you again someday Cr-- Melanie.
::As though in a dream she steps forward and vanishes into the portal's light::

youtube.com/watch?v=EdbieHYY0z0::If Kenny looks up he can see Natalia standing in the window just above the one they escaped from. She wears an unreadable expression as she motions for him to follow her::

:As Kenny sees Natalia he felt like he was in trouble but then he noticed that she motioned for her to follow Lillith now and before he left he respectfully bowed to her as always and then nodded to her hoping that he will see her again. He then turned around and jumped into the portal before he vanished:
