:: Julie remains silent for a moment, just to take all of that in. Finally, she smiles. ::
"Sounds like you do have a plan, then."
:: The smile slowly drops ::
"Um... they're probably going after our world too, huh?"
:: This time, she's too lost in her thoughts to mentally kick herself for another obvious statement. Instead she glances up at the sky, then briefly in the direction of the Ragnarok. ::
"... I don't know what everyone else is planning, but I want to go back. I'm not really worried about Esthar, but Deling City might be in danger. And then there's all kinds of places that don't even have any soldiers..."
:: She pauses again, thinking about what it had just been like to defend one of those places in a different world. ::
"I guess every world is like that, though."

"Probably," was Clerian's simple reply. His thoughts were reawakened on the fact that there were many worlds out there with people just as easily butchered as the ones they'd fought on before. So many victims, so little to defend them.
"That's why we have to come up with a new plan," he added, "This 'chase them and fight' strategy won't get us anywhere with just the few allies we have so far."
The young warrior looked at Julie. "I recommend you find as many willing allies as possible to join us. Anyone capable of fighting. Be they from Deling City, Esthar, or some random world I haven't been to yet, we need all the help we can get," was his suggestion.
Turning back around, he concluded, "For my part, I'm heading to see if I can get the assistance of the best fighters I know. I'm going home..."

Morgan couldn't help overhearing...
"If we can do something about the magic dampening, Mysidia would help, I'm sure of it. I'd have to see the Elder, first, of course."
"I can't promise anyone... But myself." Cara offered, "I know that's not much, but I've been a part of it this long. I'll do what I can."
"Well, we can both win the Elder over to start. ... OH!" Morgan's face grew worried, "I forgot... I wonder if the Empire attacked Mysidia."
As Morgan panicked, Gabriel scoffed in the distance.
(OOC: So... I've heard it's Dead Week. That's what's happening, right? The lull? Finals coming up? (*Doesn't really know when these things happen anymore...*))

(OOC: I know it's a double post, but I'm just gonna move myself along. When everyone comes back, I'll be ready.)
"So, then... Shall we?" Morgan asked Cara.
"Shall we what?" Cara asked, completely in the dark.
"Let's go to Mysidia."
"Oh, okay. I guess I'm ready."
Gabriel glared at them.
"You're not leaving me here, I already told you that."
"Morgan... Don't bring him with us..." Cara whispered.
"I... I don't know what to do..." he whispered back.
Morgan raised his voice again, "Um... Well... Would you rather go somewhere else?"
"No. Mysidia sounds like a good idea..."
"Ah... Well... Maybe it'd be best if we just part ways." Morgan replied. He wasn't overly fond of Gabriel, either.
"So, we're going to Mysidia..." Morgan told the others, "Send word there if anything happens."
Morgan began the teleportation spell. During the last gesture, Gabriel grabbed onto Morgan's hand. The three of them disappeared, together.

A small airborn craft appeared in the distance. It approached and arrived, landing very close to Iris. From the ship came Coral. "Iris! You're alright! I was so worried!" she cried, rushing to Iris' side. "Oh, my dear Coral. You fret so much. I must ask, dearie... Where did you get... That?" Iris indicated the airship. "I called in a favor. Your presence... It weakened for a moment, so I panicked. Kiros was nice enough to help me. Such a dear man... Shall we go? I don't think we should be here much longer..." Iris gave a backward glance at the others, "I'm part of this, Coral, darling. Do what you must to give us contact with them." Iris boarded Coral's craft. Coral approached Julie, "Miss Loire. Kiros has the relevant information to contact our ship. Although, this is probably a formality. I'm sure Iris has many other ways of staying in contact with you." Coral gave the proper farewells and boarded the ship. Soon, it was taking off and flying away. (OOC: So, my characters will be around, engaging in some minor personal storylines until activity picks up. Just drop me a line!

:As Kenny hold onto Ioles hand he felt that something was wrong as he can tell that Natalia was in trouble and he couldn't take it anymore: "Iole dear hold onto me this trip is going to be quick" :As he motioned Iole to hold onto him tightly, Kenny closed his eyes and chanted something as a bright white light formed around Him and Iole until they were engulfed in it: "Hang on Natalia we're coming" :As he said this the light with them in it quickly vanished:

((OOC - Holiday season must be getting us all, hm? Well, I'll just do what everyone else seems to be doing, then... a little minor personal offshoot to the storyline. And I'm assuming Rainii is still here...))
:: Julie smiles and waves goodbye as Coral's ship departed. But inside, she was still pondering over her chosen course of action. She looks down at the silver ring Clerian had given her... she hadn't even properly acknowledged the gesture. But it meant the world to her. ::
... The world...
:: Her entire conversation with Clerian played over in her head. She wants to go out there, get more people to join the fight. And she wants to see how Deling City is faring... whether they've already been attacked, or if they even know what's going on. At once, she knows that Deling City will be her first stop in her upcoming travels. ::
But how will I get there by myself...?
:: A bit nervously, she approaches her father and Ward. ::
"Um... Dad? When are we planning on leaving?"
:: Laguna frowns, curiously ::
Laguna: "Why? What's wrong, Julie?"
:: Julie bites her lower lip, wondering how she should ask Laguna for his help. ::
"Um... I need to get back to Deling City. I mean... I want to go, to see if they're okay."
:: Laguna interrupts before Julie can continue. ::
Laguna: "Huh, so you want a ride there, right? No problem! We'll just..."
:: Ward stops Laguna with a stern look. ::
Ward: "......"
Laguna: "... Oh, right. We did come here with a few passengers. And the soldiers, too. We can't leave without them..."
:: He turns his head, looking around for Morgan, Cara, Kenny, and Iole. ::
Laguna: "Huh? Where'd our passengers go?!"
:: After a few seconds, Laguna continues. ::
Laguna: "Well, guess we just need to find your sister, then... we can call the soldiers back from the ship, or contact Esthar to arrange for their transport now that the town is safe."
:: While Laguna gazes over the general area around them, Julie turns Clerian's ring over in her hand. After a moment, she unfastens her pendand and slips the ring around the chain. Somewhere she'd never lose it. As she puts the pendant back on, the ring falls into place, perfectly framing the small heart charm. ::
Laguna: "Ah... she's already at the ship."
:: Julie's mind snaps back to reality, and she sees Laguna and Ward already heading for the Ragnarok. Absently tracing a finger across the ring one last time, she rushes to follow them. ::

((OOC - That's what I figured. Probably my last post for today...)) :: Laguna grins :: "Yep! Julie wants to go to Deling City next. Any complaints?" :: Ward frowns :: Ward: "......" "Oh, right. We need to figure out what to do about the soldiers, too. Getting them home and all that. Um..." :: Laguna pauses, remembering the sudden unexplained disappearance of every other passenger the Ragnarok had on the way to Jidoor. :: "... They are still around here, right?"

((OOC - Guess someone has to move this forward. I'll leave it up to Rainii whether she comes along or goes somewhere else along the way.))
:: Julie glances at Ward, who shrugs and shakes his head. ::
Ward: "......"
:: Somehow, Laguna catches Ward's meaning, even though he wasn't looking. ::
Laguna: "Who's indecisive?! Come on, let's get going! Deling City... right, Julie?"
:: Julie nods, unable to stop herself from smiling at her father's sudden change in demeanor. ::
Laguna: "Right. Let's get going, then!"
:: The Loire family and Ward all board the Ragnarok. Shortly afterward, the airship lifts off and flies away from Jidoor. ::
