Was wondering if there are any LP fans out there. I remember I first bought their Hybrid Theory cd when it was first released for the whoping price of $5.99 I don't think anyone heard about them for another 6 months, then they finally caught on. Anyways I think their main 2 albums have been amazing as is this one. Its showing that there is a different side to them and they can do something different. I see there aren't good reviews, but if anyone wanted a good review on it here it is! Shinoda should sing a bit more, but I LOOOVE Chester's voice. Its still a great CD w/ slow songs mixed it. Very nice guys!

I agree. I also like their new single, What I've Done, and the music video they did of it.

I won the CD on the radio and got it before it came out on sale. The CD is awesome. It isn't like Linkin Park, just a different side to them for those who are wondering about the CD. It's great.
A friend of mine kept telling me "Prepare to be disappointed!" when I told him I got the CD. A friend of his had illegally downloaded it, so I was pissed at him in the first place for telling me that. Anyways, I'm going to vent about this guy, cause he's a f**k**g dueche bag. I knew he was going to be wrong from the start, but all he could say was "It sucks". He said I'd only like it if I liked emo music, which isn't really the case with MIM, but that only told me that he had a very narrow mind when it came to music. All this kid listens to is J-rock and watched anime that he so judged poorly as well. Maybe he should just stick to J-rock.
Ok, sorry, I'm done venting now ^_^'. As for What I've Done is a good song, but the music video sucked. They used so many clips I've seen before and it just wasn't something that Joe did very well in my opinion. He usually makes great music videos, but this time around, it just plain sucked balls.[/color]

What's wrong with d/ling music? I already have Manson's new album, amoung a few others that haven't been released yet.
Anyway you all sound like my friend Anna, she's a huge LP fan, even knows Mike on a personal level. How personal... not sure, but he knows her by first name. I'm not a fan, so I'm not going to say anything more.

Yea, a friend of mine is close with them. She's in their fan stuff and whatever else you can think of for LP. I'd have to say she's their biggest fan when it comes to that. She was on Jimmy Kimmels show, in the audience, for when LP was playing on his show. Haha I laughed when I saw her on TV. She was also on that one other MTV show, Yo Mama I think it's called. She gives me all the LP info I need.
I don't have a problem with downloading music since I do it, but since LP is my favorite band and I'm a complete supporter of them, then I don't like it. That's just a fan point of view I guess. And the CD wasn't even out yet which also bothered me.

I kinda agree. I DL music like crazy. I DL EVERYTHING FIRST....If I like the CD enough to buy it, it has to be of a band I like enough to support. Prices are ridiculous so only a handful of bands get that priv from me. LP is def one of them. As far as the video I thought it was great and my fiance hated the song until she saw the video. I'm glad they pointed out some of the problems going on in the world. Like the fact we're just ruining it..

Yes! That is exactly what I mean. If I like the band enough to spend my hard earned money, then I will. But, I will admit that I download all the time as well. It's actually kinda shameful to me. Oh well I guess. Like you mentioned, the prices of everything are so f**k**g high, it's a wonder how someone WON'T download.
The music video was good, but it just seemed way too...common. I'm used to seeing Joe doing something WAY more clever, and interesting.

Yea, you need to watch it a few times to appreciate what they're doing. Thats another thing, people are going to see it and say its not like their other videos. Thats the point of this whole CD, they wanted to do something different!

That's a good point that they did want to do something different, something a bit more down to earth. But, the video was just common to me. I've seen those clips many times before, and it really isn't anything new.
