"Of course not, I don't simply wait for the barbarians." Sinia says with a shake of her head. "That's just preposterous, but it's safer then wandering around where he could get the drop on us. No, lets figure out how to flush him out and then channel him into a spot where we can get the final blow."
She pokes Jyo in the chest, lightly. "As for the crystal, well what would I do if you touched it and drew Ultima from it, I'd have to tie you up there instead and I wouldn't want to do that." She says with a little sneer.

Jyo gave a shrug. "Well it's certainly going to take me out of my way, but it sounds like it should be somewhat fun. Despite your history with each other, I'll be honest when I say I look forward to another chance at him." He replied.
Then Sinia mentioned why she didn't want him touching the crystal. He gently grabbed the hand she used to poke him in the chest and leaned in close. "You talk like I would have an aversion to you tying me up." He said as a sly smile spread across his face.

"Take you out of your way?" Sinia questions, it seemed like such an odd statement from a man who was just wandering. "Have you ever had a real 'way' since you arrived here from that portal?" She asks with a little smile. "And don't worry, I'm sure he'll be back... he always comes back."
With a little squirm, Sinia frees her hand and taps Jyo on his nose. "Don't get too cocky, Green-Eyes. You got more work to do before you can be strung up for a little fun." She breaks away, taking the briefcase in both hands, snapping it open and inspecting its contents for a moment, before shutting it close. "Excellent, well I got what I came for. Just to fill out some more paper work and we can be on our way. Come."
She departs through the door, back into the sterile hallway, where Kane meets them, standing like a stone guardian. "Ah Kane, decided to join us, have you. Excellent, did you get the files?" Without a word, Kane hands Sinia a manila folder and a pen. She takes them, flips it open, and begins to write.

"Actually I have a few places planned out for where I'm headed next. But for now I have a task to complete." He said with a small shrug and gave a grin as Sinia got her hand loose and tapped his nose. "Work before play, that's how it always is." He replied.
They stepped out and Kane was standing there. Jyo gave a small nod in greeting to the man. He certainly was a devoted person, Jyo had to respect that. From what Jyo had seen by being around Sinia, Kane seemed like a guy who's loyalty wasn't earned easily, but once giving it seemed to be unwavering.
He waited until Sinia was done with her paperwork before speaking up again. "So what of Augustus and Ierys. Are they going to accompany us to your headquarters as well?" He asked. He barely knew the two of them, yet he did feel somewhat protective of them as they were Sinia's guests, and due to that Jyo would watch their backs just as he would Sinia's.

"They'll have to accompany us for now," Sinia explains, keeping her head down, writing onto the papers in the folder. "Simon may try to get them in order to get to me. I'll have one of my people send a message to Leah and advise them of the situation..." She looks up for a moment, pen tapping her chin. "You know, this could prove a great exercise for them. See if all that training from the Garden is really worth the money and trouble. Be interesting to watch how they handle themselves under pressure." She finishes up the paper work and hands it off to Kane. "Be a dear and see that is handed to the director."
Turning back to Jyo, Sinia shoots him a little smile. "Speaking of which, wonder where they are? Well, no matter, it'll be a little longer before we're refueled, not as if we're in a rush. So, Green-Eyes, what are those places you have planned?"

Jyo gave a small shrug. "Well it should make for an interesting field test. I'm eager to see what they are capable of as well." He replied. He waited for Sinia to pass off the papers to Kane and send him to take them to the proper people.
Then Sinia asked him about his next few steps. "The first stop is the Garden we visited. Despite the fact Clive shares some of my flaws, he has an ability which has an intrinsic value to me, and a potential threat as well. I need to learn about it's properties if possible. My next step highly depends on what I learn, or fail to learn there." He said.

"Indeed it should,"Says Sinia, eyes casually glancing to a window where a man in a thin white over-suit walks past the window carrying a tray of something. "See if the investment will be worth the money. And see..." He attention turn back to Jyo, "If you're time returning to the garden will be worth it. And Clive? That little... trouble-making Burmecian? Seems he shook you up more then I'd of expected - figure you were just humoring him." An amusing thought comes over her, illiciting a little smile, though she plays it off. "Well, sounds like you have a your chocobos in a row for your near future."

"I was indeed humoring him for the most part. I don't think even he knows what he may have stumbled onto with that ability. I however, see a potential with the ability that many wouldn't even consider." He replied as he slide his hands into the pockets of his slacks and leaned against a wall.
"But that is after we deal with the matter at hand." He said. Jyo wanted to see how this all turned out, and he had a score to settle It would be interesting to see how things turned out the next time he met his previous quarry as he wouldn't be trying to bring him in to be questioned.

"Interesting." Sinia states, hoisting up the brief-case closer to her body. "Well our work here is done I believe, let us head back to the ship." She reaches out and takes hold of Jyo's jacket, playfully pulling him off the wall, making him come with her. "Come."
Down the hallway, back towards the large elevator they came down in. "Green-Eye, you've done a lot for me," she mentions, offhandedly. "But I wonder, if you do indeed decide to see this ordeal through, are you willing to weigh the risk of your life. You saw what Simon was capable of, and he appeared to want you to live. What then, when he decides that he must spill your blood?"
At the elevator door, she presses the button and now they wait for it to return from the surface.

Jyo gave a shrug at Sinia's question. "I'm looking forward to the challenge." He said with complete honesty. "Keep in mind that I'm not supposed to exist in the first place. I place much more value on a challenge than my own life." He said as he stepped into the elevator.
"Not to say I plan to just throw my life away for a fight. I'm not sure the victor would be if we both aim to kill each other the next time, but it would be interesting finding out." He added as he leaned against the elevator wall. "So what are your plans for the next encounter with him?" He asked. "Because from what you've told me, in some way I'll have an easier time when faced with him than you will."

"I don't know." She states feigning stoic, she presses the elevator button once more in a futile attempt to have the elevator get there quicker. "I really just wish he would go away and never return. Twenty years gone by, why now?" She sighs. "You're not my only line of defense though... I have contractors; just to convince them that this poses a threat to their interests as well as mine will be the trick. When we get the Esthar, you'll see what I mean."

"Perhaps he was waiting for you to get comfortable. The best time to strike is when the prey is calm and relaxed enough that defending itself is incredibly difficult. This may have been the time he felt you seemed most vulnerable. Which may imply he's had his eye on you for a long time." Jyo replied with a small gleam in his eyes.
"When I was out there with him I could tell the he like myself was a hunter. He and I are both killing machines, he may be better at it that I am, but he and I share that trait." He said before locking his gaze on Sinia. "That's exactly how he seemed to be treating the event, like a cat playing with the mouse he caught."

"Certainly sounds like Simon."
The elevator door makes a chime and the doors slide open, revealing and empty lift. "Shall we?" Upon entering the lift, Sinia presses the button and it begins to ascend up. "It won't take us long to get to the Nectar Peninsula, from there we can fly in to Esthar. There's no port, so its all by air, or if one is feeling adventurous, by land. I much prefer flying, myself."

When the door chimed, Jyo used his elbows to push off from the wall and started to walk toward the door in one fluid motion.
"Well I'm used to traveling by land myself." He said looking over at Sinia and flashing a grin while they walked. "But under the current circumstances, I believe that flying would be much more practical." Jyo would have rather traveled by ground to be honest. Using the yacht and the helicopter made them more vulnerable targets as far as he was concerned.
But time was also a factor, and Jyo understood this. Then Jyo staggered slightly and wavered a bit. It was only a slight thing, not noticeable to most people unless they were paying attention to him. What the hell? He thought.

((Ok was away but now back, lets speed things up.))
Sinia chuckles to herself as Jyo spoke of preferring to travel by land. "Oh, Green-Eyes, even if we did go by land, Esthar can't be seen from it. You have to know where Esthar is to find it, else you'd be wandering the desert wastes for days or weeks."
Back at the dock, the cool ocean breeze hits the two like a wall when the doors open. Late morning now, the sun beats down on the dock and water oppressively, like a hot hammer. The yacht still rest there, same as before; now with crew and works scrambling around it, doing repairs and refueling.
"Well, we'll be departing shortly. Next stop Esthar; hope your eyes can handle the sensory overload its sure to have on you." She says with a little smile. "And by the way, if you're feeling sea-sick, I do believe we have some Dimenhydrinate aboard for that."

What just happened there?... Damn I may have to return to that wretched world again if I'm right. We'll see later. He thought as Sinia explained about the problems of traveling to Ethsar by ground.
"I'll concede to the point than. Air is a nice way to travel after all." He replied with a grin as he shoved the more unpleasant thoughts about his condition out of his head for the time being. he would address it at a later time, but now wasn't the time.
He enjoyed the cool breeze but then let out a sigh at the heat. He enjoyed warm climates. Cold was fine, but he really liked heat. He looked over at Sinia and grinned at her mention of the view of the city and the mention of sea-sickness. "I'm sure I've been broken in well enough that all I'll suffer is a moment of gaping wonderment." He said as he scratched behind his head. "As for sea sickness, I come from Spira. Water and boats are a couple of the very few things I miss from that place." He said.

"Always so modest." Sinia remarks in reply as she walks towards the vessel. "Well, get some rest and relaxation. Things are sure to get interesting when we get to Esthar."
A man, dressed in a simple suit, confronts Miss Bardi and hands her a phone. "Ma'am, it's Bio-Cell in Midgar. There's a problem." Sinia nods, looking back to Jyo for a moment. "Excuse me, business calls." Raising the phone to her ear, she walks a short distance away to talk, just out of clear ear-shot.
((When I get back from work, post in Esthar.))

Jyo gave a grin at Sinia's reply and then a man in a suit came up to Sinia mentioning something about a problem in a place called Midgar. Interesting name. I'm not too interested in this Bio-Cell, but the name Midgar strikes my interest for some reason. There are computers on the ship. I've seen them used to retrieve information as I've walked by. He thought. He still had a long way to go before being able to casually use technology, but he could still learn.
He gave a wave at Sinia when she went to talk with the person on the phone. Once on the ship he found a crew member to help him work with one of the computers on board. He figured that if he was only looking for basic information, it wouldn't be to difficult. Soon he found what he was looking for and spent the time he had left on the boat to learn what he could about Midgar and about what else lay in that world.
