::Her breathing was hard and her shoulders heaved as she leaned her head into his chest, her hands grasping the arms that held her like a life-line. If he hadn't been there, if she had left without telling him, or told him to stay behind, like a younger more stubborn Lillith would have, she would not have come out of that fire alive. She would have been left to burn in that room just like... just like...::
He killed him. He killed him!
::With the last of her energy leaving her, she cried in her husband's arms, repeating it over and over::

Kenny was now really upset, his wife had been through a disastarous nightmare and now she was so hurt and drained that it was no excuse to be mad. His wife's hands held his arms as she leaned into his chest as Kenny looked at her. She then said He Killed Him over and over as she cried into his arms as he wrapped the arms around her as he held back a tear for now while comforting her. "shhhhh dont cry honey, your knight is here with you and i will make sure that He who did this will suffer greatly for this." he said in a calm but nearly upset tone

::Back in her own cabin, Iole's knuckles cracked as she ground them together, staring down her unwelcome guest::
You knew. You've known this whole time, about me, about Doma, about the Count, about Him. And you've been moving us along in your sick little game of chess. For what?! What do you want?!
Gwen: It's as I said before Little One. I want to save the world.
And how does all this make that happen? You haven't changed at all. You're still the same conniving witch you were when we first brought you to our house.
Gwen: Our house? Oh that's right. Your Dear Auntie Natalia klaimed the orphanage as her dwelling first. Did you like it there?
::Iole's hand suddenly transformed, sprouting those hardened scales and razor sharp claws and spoke slowly through gritted teeth::
You don't say her name.
Gwen: I wonder, what is it that keeps you from speaking about her openly? Is it out of respekt, or perhaps fear. Are you running from the truth? Trying to hide it? Does poor little Oliver even know who she was? Who she really was? I'm sure you've diskovered the truth by now. You're a big girl after all.
You've always talked too much Gwen, and I'm tired of listening.
Gwen: Does he know?!
::Her arm shrunk back to its normal form. Iole could say nothing. There was only silence. Silence that brought a smug grin to Guinevere's face because it meant she was right. She hated it when she was right::
Gwen: Of kourse not. Does he even know who you are? What you are? Or just the little skraps you've given him here and there to satisfy him. The sort of way you'd give skraps to a dog under the table. Does he mean so little to you?
::Iole growled and turned away from her. She heard the Witch step closer to her, and whispered lightly into her ear::
Gwen: This is going to be diffikult, but I want you to put your raging emotions aside for one moment to think klearly. My desire to save Doma, and Gaia along with it is genuine. That you kan trust. That's why I've planned to put you on its throne.
And where does your prince come into this?
Gwen: I think you already know. He's not my prince. Konsider what I'm giving you. There are two paths before you. Kontinue as you have been, running from who you are with Oliver, konstant danger forever pursuing you, and losing him in a tide of danger and painful sekrets. Or, you kan embrace your destiny on the throne of Doma as its rightful ruler. You kould have the power to change your fate. The one you've been running from all this time.
::Iole couldn't listen anymore. She stalked past the Witch and grasped the doorknob to pull the door open again::
Get out.
::Ever the lady, Guinevere courtsied politely and drifted gracefully out of the room, but not before leaving a last warning::
Gwen: I know it's painful Little One. Destiny always is.

::As Kerion gets dressed::
HAL: Incoming call. Restricted line.
Only a few people know that.
"Give me a moment."
::Hits the comm line to open up the call.::
"Answer."
?: Thank god one of you finally answered.
"Maria? Mind explaining why you're using our restricted line?"
Maria: I know Anya told you. Hurry up and come get me!
"::Sighs:: When I get the chance, you know how dangerous things are right now."
Maria: Make it soon, I'm dying of boredom here!
"I'm sure Luca isn't all that bad."
Maria: Whatever, just hurry up, I want to travel with you guys again.
::The line then cuts itself::

::From outside Kerion's cabin, Gwen put a finger to her lips::
Hmm. Luka. It's been ages. Well we have to start somewhere.
::She straightened herself and rapped her knuckles gently on Kerion's open door::
So tell me, when do I get to meet that darling little girl of yours?

Oliver clenched the kaffiya tightly in his hand, face contorting into a furious snarl. He furled his lip and growled lowly.
"August..." He muttered, picturing the man's mug in his head. It filled him with such rage and hate, for a moment he could think of nothing but what he would like to do to the man when and if he ever gets a hold of him. No matter how far he travels, that man keeps weaseling his way into Oliver's life and it disgusted him to no end.
"We kill 'im, make sure he's dead an' stays dead t'is time."

::Gwen smiled coyly::
I don't know what you mean, I was just asking a question. I've been looking forward to meeting little Maria. In any kase, we should probably konvene soon to decide our next kourse of aktion. Leah Garden might be out of the question now that we're being hunted. I doubt Lily would want to endanger her students.

(OOC: Hurray! Time skip! Since no one seems to have that position on the Black Jack, I'm going to assume Kusari is also the medic)
Perhaps we should diskuss this with the others when Lily feels better.
::Later when Lillith felt up to getting out of her bed, they convened in the main control room. When Kusari had insisted Lillith needed to be treated for shock, the Sorceress had given the well intentioned nurse a shock of her own. One that had put her right to sleep slumped over the cot. Iole had reluctantly left her room after Gideon had threatened to drag her to the meeting kicking and screaming over his shoulder. she sat sullenly on the edge of the room with Oliver on one side who didn't seem ready to make eye contact with her yet, especially after gleaning the scent of "angry eating" on her, and Stefan on her other side bearing a disturbing resemblance to a lapdog. Captain Vincent had been contacted over the ship's radio for a conference call so he could be privy to everything going on::
Very well. Shall we re-kap. First things first, what's to be done with our new addition.
::She gestured to Stefan whose fate had been very much the subject of debate for the last few hours. Sure he had rescued them, but that didn't change the fact that he was Sigismund's son::
Anya: Throw him off the side of the deck.
::But this suggestion was quickly snuffed by a look from Kerion::
Anya: What? He's the son of the enemy!

"And as I recall, he did lead us out of the palace, preventing us from being captured." Kerion replied. "And if I know anything about people like Sigimund, that itself would be punishable by death, son or not. Not that it means I trust him one hundred percent. The timing was too much of a coincidence. I need to make sure he isn't rigged with bugs before I pass judgement."

::Stefan rose slowly from his seat and strode to the middle of the room in the center of all of them with his hands up. He lowered his hands to the buckles of his coat and unlaced them quickly. Then he pulle its black leather back to reveal his chest bearing both the muscles of a fit body and the pale complexion of one who was used to dwelling in castles. He cast his coat aside and turned about for inspection::
Stefan: Satisfied? I can remove the rest if you wish.

::Iole's breath caught in her throat at the sight of Stefan baring himself. It was a reaction she understood, and at the same time didn't. She knew what it was, but she still couldn't guess as to why she was having it. She was as clueless about it as she was about the notion that her hand on her knee was suddenly gripping very tightly::

::Lillith raised her head from where it rested on Kenny's shoulder and spoke as someone who had just woken up::
They said you saved them from your father. Why?
::At this, Stefan's face reddened slightly. Strange how stripping off his shirt in front of complete strangers had been alright, but that he'd find cause for embarassment from this question::
Stefan: What I am about to say may sound strange to you all.
::Lillith just closed her eyes::
Try us.
Stefan: It began several nights ago. I began having these strange dreams. They were of a girl. A girl that I'd never seen before. They began simple, walking on a beach somewhere in the moonlight. Then they got deeper. We started talking about a long life we had had together. She'd tell me about loved ones she had lost, and I'd comfort her when she began crying. Then the last one... In the last one she was in danger. I took it as a warning and acted accordingly.
This girl you dreamed about, can you describe her?
::Stefan bowed his head whether in hesitation or reverence she wasn't sure::
Stefan: She's in this room.
::Lillith's eyes flitted to Iole::
I'm with Anya. Throw him over.

Well I for one think we're being unfair. After all he did--
Lillith: Who the hell put you in charge?
::Guinevere shrugged in surrender to Lillith's snap::
Very well, then perhaps we should ask the Kaptain. Kerion, are you alright with this decision?

"I don't see any other choice. If we do as Anya and Lillith suggest and toss him over, and he winds up killed, it'll give Sigimund another reason to be less than merciful with us if he ever catches up. Let's not forget we don't know what he is capable of because of his bloodline. Kyran's suggestion is the only option. But I'm also adding this, as long as you are on my ship, you will remain confined to your quarters unless your summoned by me or someone that has my permission and you will not be allowed to come unaccompanied. Do I make myself clear?"

(OOC: That's funny. He's harsher with Stefan than he ever was with Gwen. And she actually has tried to kill them)
::Stefan bowed respectfully::
Stefan: If that is what you command captain, I am obliged to follow your orders as though I were one of your crew. I just hope my actions may prove that this need not be a permanent arrangement.
::Gwen grinned. As usual, she got what she wanted::
Very well that's one for keeping him from the Kaptain. Now what about the royalty in our midst?

::Iole looked into those yellow eyes she was still very leary of, but it wasn't physical danger she feared from him. Sadly she agreed with Gwen. He had rescued them. And she still retained an aversion to killing even those who had attempted the same against her. Truth be told it was the only reason Guinevere was still around to speak on Stefan's behalf::
Do what you want. I don't care. Why should it concern me?
