(OOC: Ironically enough, I want to work for Disney one day. So there you smarmy little ankle biter ) ::The moment Ierys turns around, the Wolf is already leering at her, his yellow eyes now visible in front of her. He snaps his jaws at her, forcing her to jump back where the Hag is already closing in on them:: Hag: Why leave so soon? You came here looking for something. What would two wayward sheep like you be looking for in the wolf's lair? Wolf: No pun intended of course. ::The Hag sneers at Clive's bravado:: Hag: The contract was sealed in the blood of a mortal willingly given. Binding and unbreakable until it's terms are met. Not even death can break our bind. The Lady to whom we are contracted with is ours to obey until the terms are met. This is a place of meeting for us, and we shall wait here until she returns.

"Oh of course." Clive responds back to the Wolf. "Happens with me all the time." Motions down himself with his hand. "Rat-thingy, should see what happens when I get sucked into Mobster movies, puns all around."
With a turn to the Hag, Clive's staff swinging wildly, nearly smacking the Hag across the face. With an inquisitive eye, Clive glares at the sickly woman. "That's a commitment, let me guess though, this has something to do with that Natalia woman, doesn't it?"

::The wolf and the hag exchange glances before answering::
Hag: In our world we called her The Witch of the North. And when she chooses to rise again, we will be bound to her as well. But she is the most rebellious of the Mother's children, wearing the crown of royalty like the chain of a slave. But there is another we serve, a mortal woman of this world who called on the Mother's aid in return for her soul. So The Mother sent us to her.

((ooc: Do you realise how may copyright infringements are in that post alone? lol I counted at least 5 different books which I wont list, cos imlazy like that and I cant remember all of their exact names only storylines.)) Ierys backed up as close as she could to Clive and giggle nervously. "Witch of the North, huh? Any relation to the one in the West?" Oh yeah, great, make jokes, thatl save your skinny ass!"Can we leave now? Cos I think wolfy there hasnt had a girlfriend for a little too long. And I dont date wolves, too many teeth..." Damnit! Why does my voice always go all high pitched and squeeky when I'm scared?

(OOC: Okay we've crossed the line from poking fun to "I'm about to make that wolf eat your pretty little face off" because all those infringments you alluded to were entirely unintentional. Although I might have set myself up with The Witch of the North. But I was freaking twelve when I started Natalia's backstory!)
::The wolf licks its jaws and steps closer to Ierys::
Wolf: Why the hurry? You're starting to look better all the time.
Hag: Yes, weren't the two of you seeking something?

Clive pats Ierys's hand. "Don't worry, the leprosy took care of any threat he has against you." Turning back to the two strange creatures, he inquires more as to their nature, also making damn sure to put himself between the wolf and Ierys. "Mother? And someone whose making deals with her. This is all very interesting, but whats the real deal here. What could you two possible do parading around down here in the dark like two rats." Momentary pause. "Pun entirely intended but as to the Hag's question. We were told, well I was told, there was something of value down here for the likes of me. I don't turn down valuable opportunities."

Wolf: It is not ours to question.
Hag: We the twisted offspring of The Mother's will, only seek to further the evil that brought us into existence. He is born of greed, and I am born of envy. But mortals have still found ways to take what made us and use it to their advantage. The one who summoned us, the one the masses call The Witch of Webs, planned to use the Mother's power to lead her kind out of opression.
::The Hag grins, showing her startling lack of teeth in her reptilian face::
Hag: Perhaps you as well would like to strike a bargain.

Ierys gritted her teeth. "Do you mean to tel me that we came down here on a treasure hunt?!"
Witch of Webs....what the hells is that?

Clive laughs nervously. "No... more like a question of what constituents value around here hunt. I was never told treasure, just value."
Clive raises his hand to stop the Hag from speaking further. "If this is about a dental plan, no thank you. If not, what kind of bargain you talking about? Suppose, it should be asked then, what can you do for me? Oh and Ierys, if shes interested."

(OOC: Oh and Ierys, don't pretend like you didn't see my last OOC post. I demand to know the names of those books! Besides Wizard of Oz obviously)
::The two demons begin to circle them both like vultures while they answer Clive::
Hag: The Mother's power is great. What is it you desire?
Wolf: Wealth?
Hag: Youth?
Wolf: Power?
Hag: Beauty? But of course, there is the matter of your end of the bargain.

"So far you're not winning me over, but what's this other end of the bargain entail." Clive asks, his head turning and following them as they pass, one after the other till he drops his staff in their way. "Ok seriously! Why does everyone here do that? Stop circling, is that so much to ask?"

Hag: The price is the same for you as it was for the Witch of Webs; Your soul. A trivial thing next to what you can gain in the trade. After all, for The Witch of Webs, what was her soul next to the countless others she deemed to save? A trade not unlike The Witch of Storms, the one you call Lillith attempted to make not too long ago.

((OOC: oh damn *flails* uhm uhmuhm.....I cant remember the titles...and we have 4 bookcases in this house(all of which are double stacked to the max and we still have books lieing around.) O.O ill see if I can find them lol oh but one of them was Wicked cos theres a Witch of The North reference in there. ))
"Thats pretty unimaginative wishing" Ierys piped up, unable to help herself, then clamped her hands over her mouth.
Why do I do it? Why must I draw attention to myself in these situations?
"Seriously? Whos dumb enough to trade their soul?"

(OOC: Okay, but again I was twelve when Natalia crawled out of my subconcious, a minor and stereotypical cackling zealous anime villain modeled after some girl in my middle school who thought I should go to hell for being Mormon. It took years to get her to the unwillingly villainous and cynical gothic Mary Poppins that she is today)
Wolf: Again, it is not ours to question what you mortals do. We are simply means to an end.
Hag: But the one you've come to depend on tried to make a similar trade years ago. The one who owns the house above us wished to trade her own life for all the lives within, much like our contractor traded for the lives of those of her kind.

"So another piece of the perverable puzzle comes to light."
Clive looks back to Ierys for a moment.
"Well if you don't believe in a soul, its a pretty sweet deal. However..." He turns back to the two beasts, eyes narrowed and turning very serious.
"So, for my 'soul'? It's so deliciously cliche but what if I refuse and bring this to the attention of someone who could do a little 'exercising'. You're just some servants of high-powers, I imagine there's not much substance to you two."

"So what if somebod wished for you two to die and completely cease to be, never come back and all that jazz." Ierys said, waving her hand about as she talked.

::The Hag is the first to move, placing her hand on Clive's wrist. Her fingers wrap twice around him, and he starts to feel very dizzy. Some kind of confusion spell is strangling his mind as well as his motor skills::
Hag: Children should know their place. This is what happens when the foal strays from the flock.
Wolf: Tell whoever you wish. Even if they should believe you, they cannot make us leave. Not even we, of our own free will may leave this place until our contractor comes to collect us. That is why The Witch of Storms dained to seal this place. Neither her magic nor her blade could purge us of this place.

"Couldnt make you leave huh?" Ierys said, narrowing her eyes as the hags hand enclosed around Clives wrist. She bent quickly, sliding her knife out of her boot and brouht it up with her own momentum against the hags wrist as she slammed into her with a shoulder.
"Might help with a swift exit though"
She grabbed Clives hand. "Time to go!"

"Ihva..." Clive tries to mutter out, its like his tongue is tied in a knot and swollen. "Ajkinfl-flahin."
Sparks erupt around the Hag's wrist as Clive starts to loose control of his electrical build-up. When it breaks Clive stammers back, shaking his head. "Hags got a nasty touch. Let's roll..." Clive throws out his staff two the two beast and a large bolt of lightning shoots froth, striking the Hag first, passing through her body and into the Wolf. Clive breaks away in the confusion, and with Iery's hand around his arm they turns towards the path they came in upon. Running for the door.
