Clive stretches. "I find stuff your head under the pillow works, a little. Or alternatively, you can throw shoes at her. Its fun and productive. Hmm..." Clive thinks for a moment. "Now that we're up, want to go investigate something?"

"You havent heard this girl, shes REALLY loud." Ierys said laughing. She watches him stretch, the muscles tautening, the light from the window making his fur shine. She blinks.
"Sure, what have you found that could possibly get us in trouble, killed or both?" She said with a sly smile.

"I'm not sure, but Garret over there was telling me about it earlier. Some sort of basement in this place. Might be worth to check, said something is down there that might help me out and who knows what else." Clive stands from the bed, avoiding stepping on his clothes and causing a rattle, kneels down and silently puts on his shirt. "I know where it is, that Kate interrupted me though. So you in." He plops on his behind and puts on his pants very quickly. "What's the worst that can happen, demerits?"
((be back in a bit))

Ierys looks away as Clive gets dressed and laughs. "I think Kate's in for a shock when she eventually leaves. The world doesnt run on demerits." She stands up, already ready to go. "Im in."

(OOC: Whew, sorry I never replied to that Ierys. Anyway it's fine. I'm not the kind to jump down your throat for making my characters react to something. Especially since I'm a culprit myself. Like when I made you shush Simon for the sake of comedy)

((Ok, it was a long bit))
"Good, lets go before 'flower boy' here wakes." Clive and Ierys exit the room, shutting the door behind them quietly and clandestinely make their way towards the stairwell where Garret had pointed out the door was suppose to be.
"It's suppose to be here." He states, examining a wall underneath the stairs. "Feel around, see if you feel wind through a crack."

(OOC: You seem to like the word clandestine. Macabre's another one of your favorites I've noticed)
::After awhile with the two of them poking around where the opening would be, their patience is rewarded when the tip of Clive's claw gets caught in something. From what he can tell, it's the lip of the doorway, hidden behind what to the untrained eye would appear to be part of the wall::

((First ones that hit me))
"Hey, Ierys. Found something." He calls in a high whisper. "Think this is it."
Clive glides his hand along the newly discovered break in the wall, he gets a strong grip in the crevice and slides it away to the sound of loud screeches, his face contorting in pain from the sharp sounds. On the other side is a dusty door, unmarked.
"Last chance to back out... Ooops too late!"
Clive reaches for the doors handle and checks to see if its locked.

::Clive finds that he's stumbled into an unusually lucky streak, because the door is not locked::
(OOC: Okay, granted Lillith might have put a ward or two on the door, but she's not Natalia, and most of her powers deal with electricity which is about as effective against Clive as a bandaid is to an ulcer. Plus, she probably wouldn't want to accidentally harm any student stupid enough to try and get in here. But that's just my long way of saying, I'm too tired to come up with anything more creative than "the door is unlocked")

((LOL))
The door may be unlocked, but it is however protected with a mild electric spell. It merely just surprises Clive, perhaps frightens Ierys for the shear fact surprises cause Clive to... explode, but all it achieves is providing a bit more extra blue light into the staffs lanterns.
"Woo! Nothing like a quick pick-me up in the middle of the night. Who needs a Red Bull. Come on, lets see what's inside."
Opening the door, Clive moves his staff infront of them, letting the blue lanterns emit their eerier glow to illuminate the path before them as they proceed inside.

"Personally, I'd pefer IceCream" Ierys said in a whisper, creeping through the door behind him. "But to each teir own."

::The two of them continue travelling through what appears by CLive's dim illumination via his staff to be a long corridor of mortar brick. But the further they go, the less and less man made it appears. They travel to the end of the corridor and then to a winding staircase even longer than the hall was. There's no railing, so they have to tread carefully lest they topple over into whatever awaits below. When at last they reach the bottom, it's now too dark to see anything even with the staff. But Clive's keen nose allows him to pick up the scent of oil and a glance next to him shows a canal that lines the room for lighting::

((Totally had a dream last night where we were doing this, Ierys was there and I was Clive. Turned out to be some crazy simulation thingy that was beyond the door. Then it just strayed off from there))
"Don't move. I swear if there's a lion somewhere down here that talks, I'm officially calling copy-right infringement." A tiny spark erupts in the dark and suddenly the room bursts with light as a snake of fire travels through the oil canal.
((Do tell))

(OOC: Ouch. Okay so I totally did rip off Prince Caspian the last time we were here, but you have to admit that was one of the more attention grabbing portions of the storyline).
::The flames travel all along the walls of the cavernous basement to reveal strange markings all along the stone walls, the most predominant being a slitted eye with spiked wings on either side, mounted on the back wall and lit from behind by a torch. In the center of the room is what appears to be a stage or altar of some kind, a large platform in the center of the room with stone steps that lead to a smaller platform::
(OOC: I think I'll wait for Ierys before the next part)

((OOC: Thank you, Id just hit reply then it popped up telling me youd replied again lol go Narnia )) Ierys laughed nervously as the room lit up and crept closer to Clive. "Next thing you know the White Witch will turn us to stone. Why exactly did we come down here again?" Her lips twitch into a small smile and she hold her hands close to herself as she looks around at the creepy suroundings.

"Whose the White Witch?" Clive inquires, looking back to Ierys with a confused expression. "I got a Soft, don't worry about any stone. No need to be paranoid." ((LoL, How would they know about Narnia, this isn't our world! Talking Lion could be a reference to anything! :3 ))

(OOC: I know I'm stabbing myself in the foot with this next post, but the hell with it!)
??:Who are you?
::A shrill voice, little more than a hiss breaks the tense silence. The two search frantically for where it's coming from when two figures shrouded in black cloaks emerge from the corner of the room that had still been partially shadowed. The one in the front is a slight figure that could presumed to be female, but nearly all human semblance in her face now visible as she pulls down her hood is replaced by reptilian scales and slitted nostrils. Her head angles from side to side much like a snake, and her long fingers don't move naturally, looking to be made of muscle rather than bone. The figure behind her is much larger and hunched over her. They can't see his face, but a fanged muzzle protrudes from under its hood::
Hag: When the flames were lit, we believed our contractor had returned. Instead we find two children in her place.
::The second one speaks in a voice far lower than the hag's, like stone dragging on tree bark::
Wolf: And scrawny children at that. Too stringy to eat.

"Yup far far faaarrr to skinny to eat." Ierys said at the speed of light, in a suddenly high pitched voice. "So,um, we're gonna go now right Clive?" She turned to look at Clive, giving him a look that begged to leave.

((Oh Aslan dammit!))
"Wait, wait." Clive interupts. "You two have been down here waiting for your 'contractor' this whole time? You know there's a door just over yonder, you could of have left. Sunlight might be good for you too." He looks to the Hag and cringes. "Yea, specially you. Think 'bark-boy' here is a lost cause. GET A FUR BRUSH!" He turns and scolds to the Wolf. "So whats the deal, whose the contractor and why you insist on waiting, that's commitment... that or you didn't read the contract when you signed it and got the short end of the stick. Was that it, did you fail to read your contract." Clive shakes his head in disapproval. "Poor poor bastards."
