(OOC: Score! ^_^)
::Once the name is uttered, the sparrow flaps its wings and looks skyward. Once she lowers her head again, her beady black eyes have become the same steely shade of blue that Oliver's are. From then on, Oliver can feel a sort of strange bond to it. Lillith smiles::
That's a beautiful name. I think she likes it. Well Emily, welcome to the family.

::Once the others have returned to the party; the children running and playing games and taking rides on Kyran, and the adults sitting around the table, laughing and drinking and reminiscing, Iole and Oliver stay on the edge of the room. She reaches her finger out and strokes the bird lightly along its crown::
She's so pretty. So... Ollie, you never told me. What exactly did you wish for? I mean, you don't have to say if you don't want, but I'm really curious.

Oliver awkwardly laughs. "Rea'y wan'ta kno? Guess, 'ince it came tru, is a'right." He turns and looks to the little sparrow. "I 'ished tat me mum cou'd see me here, rea'y tat she cou'd be here. Ten... Lillith gave me ta 'ittle sparrow an I kne me mum is in her, came ta see me, she did." He presents his index finger for Emily to take, she hops onto it and Oliver raises the finger up and lightly tosses her into the air and shes takes flight. "Shes not stuck no more in ta city, did wat everybody from ta Crest wan's. Free ta fly." He watches the little bird flutter around the hall and smiles genuinely, for the first time in a long time, happy.

::Iole watches Oliver smiling, which lifts her own spirits. Then she watches the sparrow circle above them, thinking about what Oliver had said::
I guess they do have their ways of watching over us. You're right Ollie. That's not something that just goes away.

They never go away.
::Iole repeats Oliver's words. Then she slugs him playfully in the shoulder::
Hey, promise you won't forget your "little country girl" friend when you go back to Lindblum to be the big city guy.
(OOC: I think the thread's about wrapped up unless someone wanted to add something here. Loci, any choices for end credit music?)

Oliver giggles and rubs his shoulder. "Cours'no! Migh'not be ta most educated but me brain is sharp, never for'et ye, I will!" He then rests his hand atop hers and smiles warmly.
The bird flutters back over to Oliver and tries to land on his ear, it twitches and the bird chooses the more stable spot on his shoulder as they all three sit and watch the party slowly dwindle away.
((Nope, what I'd would like isn't available on line.))
