Yes I am indeed back. Not sure how quickly I'm ready to jump into this since I'm currently reduced to typing with an iPod touch. However I still intend to get this off the ground o e way or the other. I've already sent in invites to Loci/Oliver as well as Jas/Kerion. The SL will revolve around Iole who will play a large role in the fate of the Kingdom of Doma as several factions move in to usurp it's throne. Said factions will be brought to light soon. Anyone who is interested, please post here.

Thank you Kenny. If you're interested, said factions are going to be vying for Garden support, which would Include Leah Garden. Not sure which side (if any) Lillith will take, but we can flesh out some ideas together.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=16Dhqw8OAwAAlright, the SL looks like it's about to get underway with some key players being drawn in. Oliver, Lillith, and Clive have narrowly escaped Yersinia's clutches at Triceutical with some unexpected help from Iole. After a long seperation, Iole greets her former lover with a punch to the face. Meanwhile, Kerion and crew arrive at Leah Garden with two unlikely allies; Former archenemy Guinevere the Witch of Webs, and mysterious world traveler from Freya Gideon Lightfeather, each with their own reasons to find Iole. And in the ruins of Burmecia, Iole's faithful companion Nyx is abducted by a group of masked men led by a man with yellow eyes named Stefan. The group appears to hail from Doma, a kingdom long forgotten and left unto itself since the initial invasion of the Ghestalian Empire. And one that now holds answers for Iole now that it's been revealed as the original source of the Le 'Enfante Terrible. What interest does Iole have in the Magitek Bomb responsible for toppling the old Lindblum, and by its lasting effect, much of the Old World Government? And where is the child she was carrying in Freya when Oliver left her on his quest for revenge? More still to come on how our heroes are irrevocably caught up in the struggle that is boiling all across Gaia. What transpired in Lindblum when a lone Burmecian Freedom Fighter triggered the bomb that "threw a dagger into heaven" was the start of a great and terrible movement, and it's only the beginning. A brave new world has begun.

Okay, for those of you who have missed this, there are now two new characters in the SL. Stefan, who will get his own section later, and Lord Leon, the Black Knight of Thamasa. See thread: fftalesrebirth.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=tzen&action=display&thread=1469&page=1Lord Leon hails from Thamasa and grew to prominence in the west, organizing a new generation of Mage Knights. When the Ghestalian Empire began to push out of the south again, Leon gathered his forces and destroyed the Imperial occupation in the northern town of Tzen, setting up his headquarters there. He has currently set a barrier between the Empire and the rest of the Sixth world. Enemies of the empire and those who would fight its opression have begun to flock to his banner. Leon himself is a knight clad in black armor, wielding a mighty greatsword. No one sees his face save for his loyal Thamasan Mage Knights. He appears to have great insight into the strategies of the Empire as well as combat against their magitek armors. He only speaks through ambassadors, even among his own army. Rumors say his vocal chords were torn out in a previous war and that he now must speak through telepathy only to those whom he trusts. The Mage Knights: These are Lord Leon's elite forces. They are the young generation of the magical outcasts of the sixth world who have lived in exile in the west in the town of Thamasa. Lord Leon trained them and molded them specifically because their youth and passion allowed them to fully embrace his ideology of a world where every leader is expected to be a knight of honor and virtue, who puts the needs of others before themselves. These young mage-warriors dedicate themselves to the cause of justice, valor, and freedom for all. It's believe that the eldest of them began their training at about twelve years of age and were full fledged knights at age sixteen. At present there is not one Knight older than eighteen. Each one posesses a talent for elemental magic which they've honed to ruthless efficiency. They are lightly armored and equipped with a shortsword which they junction to their magic. They are each trained by Lord Leon himself in the tactics of the Empire, with particular attention to the Magitek Armors. Even the youngest knight is capable of combating a magitek all on their own. They are easily distinguished within the regime by their young age and their uniforms which consist of light armor and tunics of dark blues and greens. Their hair is worn long and usually tied back in a ponytail or braid. Aside from their combat capabilities, they are also the enforcers of Lord Leon's code of honor. Anyone serving under the Black Knight's banner from the highest ranking general to the lowliest stable boy is expected to treat one another and be treated with kindness and respect. A leader who fails to carry out their duty in this manner is dealt with swiftly, with harsher penalties if the offense was against a child. These young men, despite their youth are admired by the young and respected by the old for their formidable skill and their zealous dedication to the code and those they serve and protect.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=v3KBwTLOxds&feature=relatedIt All Begins At the Harvest Moon The Empire has begun blitz from Vector across the continent, The Autumn Harvester walks the streets again, a faithful friend has been captured while an enemy from the past has offered aid, and the fate of a small kingdom in the Sixth world can change the face of Gaia forever. And that's only the beginning. Reunited after long years of relative peace, most of the remaining Heroes Gaia have gathered at Leah Garden, compelled to join forces with an old enemy. With her pale lips and twisting webs, Guinevere reveals a major power-play being made within the Kingdom of Doma between Count Sigismund and the resurfacing Ghestalian Empire. With whispers of something powerful being hidden within Doma, several factions warring for the small kingdom, and long-time enemies like Internal Affairs, and Triceutical coming out of the woodwork, the Witch of Webs convinces the heroes to act. But is she truly sincere in her desire to save Gaia from the flames, or is there a darker reason lurking behind her smile? But in spite of this, the Heroes seem to have healed bonds that had seemed shattered with Kerion making peace with those of the party he had betrayed in the past, Kenny and Guinevere resolving their own history and parting on good terms, and Iole and Oliver with their minds set on marrying after the affair in Doma is over. But Iole's dreams of a strange man with yellow eyes and long dark hair shatter the semblance of peace she's been able to find? It all begins at a ball under the Harvest Moon where all their paths will collide.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kk3Nmu8Kq6Y::The Dragon Prince:: With the Harvest ball taking an interesting turn, the heroes were forced to flee. Old enemies abounded in Doma with Internal Affairs resuming their hunt for Iole, Oliver, and Kerion with a vengeance, and the Harvester seething for revenge had truly reached a new level of cruelty by brutally murdering old ally of the heroes Adrian Zephyra before luring Lillith to the scene to be burned alive. And now the man seems to be working for the Empire itself! And worse still, Guinevere has brought out a new enemy in Count Sigismund himself. In an "early Queen move" the Witch of Webs revealed Iole Blakeney as Doma's last direct heir, infuriating both the Count and the Empire who now has two legitimate contenders to thwart before they can claim their prize. But in a turn of events, the Heroes were rescued by none other than Stefan Dracul Sigismund, the son of his excellency the count, who reveals to them astonishing secrets. The first is the nature of himself and his father as Dragons. The second; his reason for saving them. For his dreams these last few nights have been haunted by none other than Iole, causing further friction between her and her beloved husband to be. What do these revelations mean for our heroes? And what does Guinevere stand to gain by igniting the sparks between these two supposed star-crossed lovers? And what's to become of Lillith whose mind now burns with grisly thoughts of revenge? The War for Doma is on with shadows of the past lurking in the background as well as on the front lines. And now, Iole holds the key to it all.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=a8Axi2ScD5I::Advanced Pawn:: The Gauntlet was thrown in Figaro, and the King was taken down by the demons of the Empire. Or at least that's what Gaia is being led to believe. But the fight has ignited a fierce passion within Iole that is spreading to the other heroes who will no longer take the fight sitting down. Meanwhile the other heroes in Tzen are faced with a dilemma: Vincent and Lillith are now guests of the mysterious Lord Leon, and are putting their heads together to discover the reason behind all the interest surrounding Doma. Gideon seeks aid to heal the woman he loves from the twisted trio known as the Black Widow Brigade. But upon meeting them he realized that they are servants to the very evil he has sworn to destroy, and their help will come with a price. Meet the Circle of the Night; three petulant teenagers with dark and twisted hearts. According to one of their members, they summoned the Demon Goddess Jezebel as prompted by "The Man With Glasses" and made a pact with her, selling themselves into her service in exchange for dark powers. The three are united with a most despicable goal to twist and distort anything that is natural and beautiful into something dark and sinister for their own amusement "just to see if they can". They left behind their true names the night they invited the evil and have devised new ones for themselves. This is Nag, a sensual creature of questionable gender who seeks the finer things in life; food, drink, sex, riches, and power. A spontaneous one, Nag volunteered for one of its colleague's experiments which left it with a blue furry tail and ears, and short translucent fur all along its skin (a change it welcomed openly). Thoth, nic-named August Junior by the crew of the Hijrah is a young scholar who seeks knowledge and understanding by any means necessary. He has no qualms about experimenting on others to test his theories, even going so far as to use his own colleagues on occasion. Thoth is someone who enjoys, nay thrives on cutting things up to see what they are made of. Be careful around him. The next thing he dissects might be your soul. And lastly we have Fay, stated by Nag to be the most cold hearted of the trio. She is a self centered witch who rarely smiles and is obsessed with understanding matters of the heart. Having never loved nor been loved, but knowing it to be "the greatest magic" it is something she seeks to understand above all. And like Thoth her experiments on the matter are void of any moral compass. She enjoys making a wager out of their experiments with Thoth, and losing one in the past is how she ended up with the cat-like tail that swishes back and forth beneath her skirt. And yet another player is being moved onto the board by a sinister being from the past. And this wild card just caught up to the heroes. With the Empire amassing an army of August's demons, and Count Sigismund with only one signature left in the way of his claim to Doma's throne, Iole and the other heroes plan an attack on an Imperial base to show their enemies and the people they've chosen to protect that the fate of Doma (and Gaia) is not sealed yet.

Okay I'm putting it to a vote. I know Loci said we could move on without him, but I'm hesitant for three reasons; One, we're still in his territory in Burmecia, and he was running the scenario, plus there was a surprise he had planned for the next time we came to Leah Garden. Two, he did give me permission to auto Oliver, but apart from the challenge of keeping him in character, there is no way in hell I could ever write in that accent. And lastly, one of our leading villains (August) has also disappeared. So with all this in mind, who votes that in spite of these challenges we just move on with the story? Provided anyone is still around to vote? Jas? Galeon? Kenny? Ren? Anybody?
