Jezebel: Well why don't we just wait and see how are little drama unfolds. I'll be around. The strife that this little struggle of yours has caused is rich with power for me.
::Astaroth lays back down on the table and closes her eyes. Then at once, Nu feels the goddess' presence vanish::

Looks like she's gone, for the time being. I can see why Natalia was swayed by her. he thought. But she'll find I'm not that easy to turn. I'll just have to try to stay one step ahead.

::Some time later, Alicia and The Captain are holed up in their office watching the latest media coverage of the dragon attack that occured moments before the LPA were to charge that area. The news anchor assumes it was a freak occurence in which the dragon was attracted by the smoke and came seeking a mate, but the IA knows better, for they recognize the white dragon with black wings and blue eyes. Alicia watches in horrified awe as she watches the dragon shred through the Regent's forces::
Astaroth: Is that really... Iole Blakeney?
::The dragon on the screen looks far more mature than the one she had seen in Nibelheim those seven years ago::
Astaroth: She's gotten stronger. Much stronger from the looks of it. How are we going to deal with her now that Kerion is no longer in our employ?

"Why do you think I had Yami tag along." He replied. "At first it was so she could see the outside world. But now that Iole is involved, Yami can be used against her. You do know she's been looking forward to 'playing' with her fro quite awhile. And I doubt Iole will kill a child, enemy or not. It's not in her nature to do such a deed. What it might do is make her hold back, which is something you shouldn't do when facing Yami."

Astaroth: But we also didn't think it was so easy to turn Kerion against his friends. We don't know what this war might have done to her. She seems to have changed. This world is changing and everyone is adapting in strange ways.
::That phrase seems to strike a chord with Nu, though Astaroth doesn't seem to realize it. But when he hears her say "the world is changing" he can see those fire colored eyes leering at him::
Astaroth: You can't be serious about sending Yami to fight that. She's skilled and smart, but she's still a girl.

"And I belive your underestimating her Astaroth." he replied. "Besides, this might be a good learning experience for her. But on that subject, gather her and Kamikaze. It's time we head to the palace. The time is drawing near for my plan to come to fruition."

::Astaroth stares back at him trying to contain her shock. Underestimating her? She had been in charge of the girl since she had left the test tube. She had been the one monitoring her progress, finding out what makes her tick, what she could handle, what she couldn't. No one, not even Nu knew Yami like she did. This wasn't hesitancy on her part. It was a proffessional analysis::
Is it really? Am I really stating facts, or are my feelings clouded? What is she to me?
::Astaroth bows respectfully to Nu::
Astaroth: Sir.

::Watches as she leaves before pulling out an evelope and some paper before writing:: If what Jezebel said is true, I'm going to be prepaired for the worse case senario.
::He finishes writing and puts it into the envlope before writing another note. He then lays one hand on the desk:: "Summoning." ::In a small flash, a small red dragon appears on the desk. He rolls the note up and places it with the envelope and hands it to the dragon:: "Take this back to my base and hand Melanie the note. Make sure no one reads the content until its time."
::The dragon nods before biting down on both before taking off through the window:: Now that is in place. I no longer have any reason to prevent what would happen.

(OOC: Care to PM me that letter, or will it just have to wait)
::Meanwhile, in Yami's playroom Alicia finds the girl curled up and fast asleep among a motley assortment of stuffed animals. She adored the things::
Astaroth: Yami, wake up. Your father wants to see you.
::Yami sits up and rubs her tired eyes::
Astaroth: He said we're getting ready to go to the palace.
::The demoness feels nothing short of shock when she discovers that she almost chokes on her next words::
Astaroth: And there's more good news... He said... that it's almost time for you to meet Iole.

Astaroth: Don't push yourself. If you're tired, you can rest a bit more.... Yami, do you know what your father wants you to do when you see Iole?

Astaroth: And you're sure you're ready?...
::If she were able to cry, Astaroth thinks she might, seeing that look on Yami's face. That determination and blind obedience::
Astaroth: Yami, do you know what a draconian is?

::She nods:: "A human that has dragon power. Some of them can also change into either a full dragon or human dragon hybrid. A draconian is stronger than an average human due to the dragon inside them. Master did teach me about the different races on Gaea."

Astaroth: But what he didn't tell you is that the draconians of today are only a shadow of what they used to be. Back when the true dragons roamed Gaia, they were the most powerful beings in existence. They took human form, and then human lovers. Their children had their powers and their strength. But as the dragons died out and became dumb beasts, their powerful noble blood was spread thin. But... I don't know how, but somehow Iole Blakeney is every bit as powerful as the ancient Draconians. Are you sure you're ready for that?

Astaroth:....... You know I will.

::After Oliver's Capture:: ::Oliver sits with his hands cuffed to a metal chair at a table with sterile white lighting and a mirror taking up the entire upper half of the wall opposite the door which he guesses he's being watched through right now. A uniformed Regent guard opens the door to admit someone in before saluting her rigidly. A tall woman with a long taut ponytail of blond hair and blue eyes hidden behind square-framed glasses enters in, half acknowleding the salute while reading the open file in her hands. She's wearing a navy blue blazer with a short matching skirt and heels, and her fingernails as well as her lips are a dark shade of red:: Astaroth: Good evening to you. I'm Alicia Strauss, Secretary of Internal Affairs. Do hope your arrival wasn't too rough. I'd ask your name, but according to this file I just found on you, your name is Oliver Fray Tipp. ::She absentmindedly strokes her cheek with her long red nail:: Astaroth: Fray, Fray, Fray... any relation to Simon the Betrayer? ::She looks at him for the first time, and her crimson smile is most unpleasant to him::

Oliver spits at Alicia, jerking in the metal chair as if straining to get closer to her.
"Ho'about ye come a'ittle c'oser an' find out." He snarls to her, then growls.
Oliver is somewhat beaten up from his capture, his right eye slightly swollen, his other red and bloodshot. Dried blood cakes his fur and clothes, not all his though.
"Oliver Tipp, 24601, Red Dragoon." He repeats, sometimes yelling, mostly just speaking in a murmurer.

(OOC: Nice. I see what you did there)
::Alicia's eyes drift unamused to the droplet of spit that didn't reach her and landed instead on the table in front of her. She takes a dainty white handkerchief from the pocket of her blazer and wipes it away with one quick movement::
Astaroth: Now now, there's no need to be rude. It's a shame really, war used to be such a gentleman's game. Now look at the brutal methods we're forced to employ. Hmm... this is interesting. It says here you're in the legal custody of a Lillith Domani Avalerion. Would that be the Witch of Storms? My my my, you have quite the interesting background. I would love to hear more.
