He was involved in what is now known as the Sands War. He, along with a few others, protected the city of Narshe from invasion. During the war, many of the prison were destroyed, freeing the more dangerous convicts. Kerion spent his time apprehending them, joining various anti-terrorist factions. One of his missions had him hired by the chief of police in Lindblum as a bodyguard for a sorceress. At first, he didn't like the guy, but with his foster daughter's health in trouble, he had no choice but to take it to save her life.
Years later, he's now once again working for the Lindblum government as part of their anti-terrorism squad. He's currently on the trail of commanders of the terrorists.
As far as family goes, he has a foster daughter named Maria. he met her when she was a sickly child. Her parents abandoned her when they learned her disease was incurable at the time. But thanks to the funds Kerion amassed from his jobs, he was able to fund research that yielded a cure. Now his concern is putting her through school.
Blackjack
Kerion's personal airship. Although its smaller in size compared to the likes of Vincent Kumi's Hijrah, the Blackjack was originally made by the Lindblum government as a prototype scout ship, but was plans were scraped and the prototype sold on the black market, which the buyer was Kerion himself. The ship was designed for speed rather than combat so it's not as big.
His ship currently has one crew member, Anya, who's in charge of maintaining the computer system of the ship. She's also his liaison for jobs, as well as being his information gather and hacker. She's also a expert in the field of robotics, as she created many robots to help in keeping the Blackjack in tip-top shape, controlled by a central A.I she calls HAL.
