::The doc watches as each item is placed on the table, analyzing each as they cross his gaze. He picks up several of the bottles, reading the slightly burnt lables.::
"Excellent, Oliver, excellent."
::He adjusts his glasses and sets each object on the otherside of the table as he reads them, smiling with a toothy grin.::
"You have done excellent, as always. I knew trusting the Shawnkills to get things done here and Oliver, you are no exception. All of these will be useful to the people here."
::The next few bottles cause him to raise a brow however, the names sounding odd. He spins around to a stack of books behind him and takes one about different pills and medicines. He quickly flips through the pages, coming to one on anti-pshycotics and skims down the page.::
"Oliver? Where did you get these medicines? They are anti-psychotics, can't find these in your typical hospital or clinic."
::There's a wal behind the table, corckboard with various news clippings plastered on it. He takes one paticular clipping off its tack and reads quickly, then looks to Oliver.::
"Burnt medicine bottles and anti-psychotics? You weren't in Dollet were you? Does this have to do with your mother, perhaps? I heard about that... I am so terribly sorry, she was a good woman. A bright light here in the gray world of the Crest. Remember, if you need anything, don't hesitiate to stop by."

Oliver nods, slightly awkward and unsure about why the doc was so taken back about where the medicines had come from.
"Ya, since me mum... died, been with tis woman, Lillith an' her friends. Wen'to Dol'et under a clue! We trail'in the Autumn Harvester! Gonna ges him, I will, cut em jus 'ike he did to me mum!"
Oliver looks to the doc, to the meds, and back to the doc.
"So... uh how muc ca'n I ges for'em, Doc?"

::The doctor listens intentisely to Oliver's story, noding periodically.::
"Lillith? Well, if you turst her then I shall trust her with your care."
::He takes the last of the medines, potions, and syringes and counts them one by one.::
"Well, some of these I do not know of how much value will be to some of the residents here, but I have a friend at the clinic who may want them. Still, those anti-biotics are invaluable and clean syringes are getting hard to come by now. I'm believe I can spare 420gil right now for the lot and any medical services you may need in the future."
::The doctor laughs lightly to himself, thinking on how silly his last statement was considering who is talking too.::
"Not like you have ever been sick in your life, so you have told me." ::He pats Oliver on the pack.:: "Just don't get cut up too much by those Bowery Boys! Or run afoul of that Autumn Harvester, heavens forbid the same should happen as that of your mother."
::The doctor turns to a drawer in his table, pulling it open and taking out some gil. He counts out 420 gil, and then another 50gil just as a jesture of good-will and friendship and hands it to Oliver. Cupping the money around his hand and holding the childs paws tight for a moment.::
"You are a very special young man, you make your mother proud, you make the community proud. Never forget that, if your father was alive today, he'd be glowing with admiration for you. Don't let this place consume you, you will do so much in this world and I know, you'll have your revenge someday in someform."
::He turns back to his desk and returns to his work, but before Oliver leaves, he looks over to the young burmecian with a smile.::
"And please, you can call me August, Oliver. No need for nick-names anymore. Think of me as father figure who will be there for you if you need or want anything."
::He smiles for a few moments then turns back to his work, scetching out the female form in a journal.::

Oliver leaves the shop, taking with him the gil and the sense of pride he has toward the community and reemerges from the alley, waving to the roof where Iole and Ren sit. He signals that he is done and beacons them to come down from the perch. With the Bowery Boys out of commission for the time being, the streets were theirs.

::Iole waves back and looks from her left to her right to make sure no one is watching::
Looks like he's done Ren. Try to keep up.
::She leaps from the ledge and starts plummeting face first for the street. But just before she hits, she sprouts odd black spiked wings. She zooms down the avenue to wear Oliver's waiting before diving upwards to spin into the air. Then she glides gently back to the ground where she retracts her wings::
That didn't take long. So what's this "Doc" of yours like? Sounds like a pretty good man to take it upon himself to take care of everyone in the crest like this.

Oliver nods to Iole, dangling the money he just earned infront of her.
"Ya, very friend'y guy he is. On'y one who wans to help us!"
Oliver crosses his arms and smugly leans back against the wall.
"So... I gos sume gil, wanna h've sume fun on ta town!?"

You read my mind. You're such a gentleman, offering to show the young lady the sights.

::Iole thinks to herself::
If you wouldn't mind, I think I could use some new threads. Then we can get some food on our way back to the inn. Lillith's probably done with her report by now. Who is this Captain Ames anyway? Is he really that bad?

Oliver takes Iole's hand and guides her through the streets to a thrift store in the Crest, it's not fancy but has warm clothes at excellent prices.
"Ames? Ah... he's ta one tha won'let the doc opper'te in ta open here. Very typica' oinker he is. Been gi'en the gangs a hard time, he has. One reason we been kept undar, hates foreigners an such. Pisses me off, he does."

::Iole seems to sympathize with Oliver's explanation about Ames. But she's quickly distracted by something in the far corner of the store::
Ooo hang on. I'll be right back.
::She leaves his side and grabs something off the wall, careful not to let him see it. Then she enters the dressing room. In a surprisingly short amount of time later, she returns in whole new gear::
How do I look?
::She's now dressed in a white long sleeve made of wool underneath a small black vest. Her legging are black and knee length where they meet up with her black stockings and a pair of black high tops. Her hair clips are now hidden beneath a wool black cap where her shoulder length hair is poking out the back in a ponytail::
Think I'll blend in more now? Don't worry. I'll pay you back. Auntie left me an account in Balamb.

"Ah..puppy love eh.." Ren said and jumps off the roof and walks along with the two children. " I guess I should keep quiet about it."

Oliver chuckles under his breath, his arm blocking his muzzle.
"Ya look 'ike ya lived here ya whole life, ya do."
He giggles some more as he looks over Iole, the outfit seemed so out of place to what Oliver would expect someone like Iole to wear, he wondered if Lillith would punish him for letting Iole do this.
"Is perfec, it is! An don worry, why I gos thos meds, pawned of sum of me mums clothes too so I'm not hurtin for gil righ'now."
Despite how morbid that sounds, Oliver still smiles to Iole all the same. It does, Oliver thinks to himself for a moment, that he should speak of his mother in such a cavalier attitude, but the oath he made to himself back at the flat still resonates strongly with him, he'll get the Autumn Harvester, then shed the rest of his tears. Till that time, he's got to be strong.
"Come, les ges tha for ya and be on our way!"

(OOC - Yes Lilith, I know we are in the pub; do not worry. There is something I need to take of first quickly for timeline sake now. I will definitely post if it the need arises and/or if I get enough time.)
While everyone has parted their ways with Iole and Oliver off to do something and the rest heading to the inn, Dante and Eva walked down along the somewhat-drenched streets and alleys taking the sights. While still pondering if Iole will be all right, he overhears Eva...
<< Ugh, I like to post further but I shall edit later as I seriously in need to get rid of bad sleeping habits at the moment. Sorry, Eva. >>
