Lately, I've been randomly PMing people with better versions of the avatars they have. Usually, if their version is low-quality, or badly resized. I can also find other images of similar (or the same) characters, usually.
So, while I still have home internet access and can manage it, I'm putting out an offer for anyone who has an avatar image they're not 100% satisfied with in how it shows up in the forum.
All avatars I make are usually 100 x 100, and will display best if those settings are entered in the profile menu.
Things that stick out to me (i.e. "Things I compulsively fix"): 1. Avatar images that are over 100 x 100 and resized to fit 2. Avatar images that are under 100 x 100 and hard to see 3. Avatar images that are obviously poor quality
While this service is open, though, anyone who isn't satisfied with their avatar image is free to request my help. I'm very good with online image searches, and I've got quite a collection of useful images myself. As long as you've got an idea what you're looking for, I can probably find something.
EDIT: Not to brag at all (because I think my work is simplistic and sometimes mediocre at best), but the current banner for this site and probably 1/4 to 1/3 of the active users avatars have now been created or modified by me. I still don't know how much longer I'll have the tools needed to do this, but for now, I'm still open.

I assume you just want a significant part of the bike visible?

Oh, it's possible, but if I'm going for 100 x 100, then it'll be really tiny. XD

Just a note, I'm not talented at all of an artist, but if you guys need anything Photoshop'd, I can see what I can do. Resizing, recoloring, etc.

Thanks for the offer, Clerian! I won't be able to do my cropping and resizing for much longer. (Need internet access on my home computer for that, and I might be limited to public libraries anytime soon.) And I don't have the right programs for recolors. So it's cool that there's someone else who can cover this kind of stuff after I'm "gone"... not to mention do some things I can't anyway.

No problem. I'd be glad to help out.
I'm not a "professional", but I've had a graphic design class and a lot of experience fiddling around with Photoshop under my belt (as weird as that figure of speech sounds), so I'd be glad to help anyone who has any requests in finding/fixing an avatar.
