Certainly tripped me out, almost as much when I found out eva/inu is black. Though, I still have my doubts about that.

Oh no, he didn't do it on purpose. He just let it slip to Loci in a PM, and the rest is history. Still considering my gender, I take pride in my ability to write characters who play flawless femme-fatales. Always my weapon of choice. It can be the most powerful sword wielding, gun toting, spell slinging hero in history you're up against, but bat a pair of pretty eyes at him and he's clay in your hands to be molded or cracked. Ooooo that sounded a little creepy.

Still don't think you've quite topped Yersinia yet though, I still get shivers thinking about her.

... Just a lot. I personally enjoy being capable of writing believable, relatable characters regardless of gender. Laguna the reckless adventurer, politically inept ruler, proud and sometimes worried father. Julie the shy(-ish) waitress from Deling City, fledgling and maturing adventurer, hopeless romantic. And now Klytië, the insane sorceress with a troubled past bent on conquering the world in the name of a long-dead predecessor. Rather varied group, even without Kiros, Ward, and Moomba.

I think we all do a pretty good job of channelling our different characters and making them each unique with a differnt voice for each one. For example, Gwen is willing to be cutthroat but would rather act through someone else than get her hands dirty, while Nyx is more willing to directly do some slashy action, but is bound by a more rigorous code of honor than Gwen. And Clive's provocative antics would sound very out of place in Oliver despite that they came from the same writer.

Oh, without a doubt. I know we all have general patterns, though. Yours is mostly sorceresses of some kind. Loci's all about the fur. I'm sure I have a pattern that someone's figured out. Even though only two of my characters are original.

Guilty as charged, if it's a Burmecian or something close, that's me!
Also, I wrote Loci, Nat. He's the most drastically different character compared to any of my others (villains excluded). Aside from the fur.

Very true. I also think he wins "Most philosophical" on this site.

Very true. I also think he wins "Most philosophical" on this site. He takes the cake on a lot of things. That character is practically part of me, so much heart and soul put into making him nearly an identity unto itself for me.
