"Well sweetie, sometimes a woman's work can be a bit exhausting. Up there in front of the spot-light, singing to the crowd of baboons till they are just putty in your hand. It's tiring but so satisfying."
Raul comes up to Violette and mutters something to her under his breath, then mouses away.
"Well sweeties, its been fun but I got a date and I can't be late. Stop by again sometime." She shoot Iole a snide little smile, blowing smoke towards her then walks off with several sways of hips.
Oliver awkwardly laughs. "Uh... she can be a bit rough but she's really nice once you get to know her."

::Iole frowns as Violette leaves::
I'm sure she is.
::She actually means it this time, because what she had just got off of Violette's aura was very unexpected. Just something about the way Violette was feeling right now, despite all her bravado, told Iole that her work could really get to her some nights. And tonight was one of those nights. It was a mixture of self-loathing and pity probably for the young nameless officer she was just about to "work her magic" on. But she resolved not to tell Oliver about it. She wasn't even supposed to have felt it, she had just gleaned it as she left. She decides to change the subject to keep Oliver from figuring out where her mind was (and she could usually do it by making him blush)::
I wonder if I could pull off that dress.

Oliver nods. "Ye'd 'ook ten times better up there on t'at stage t'en Violette." Quickly he looks to where she walked off. "Just do'tell her t'at." He giggles. "Ye know, I never heard ye sing, can ye?"

::Iole nods::
Auntie taught me how in her language. I don't think I'm as good as she is, but she told me I had the sweeter voice. The Wood Elves love to sing, and I've learned a lot of their songs.

"Have ta show me sometim-"
"Not tonight." It's Sid, appearing like a ghost beside the table. Not even a word of warning to his presence. "Ve got a situation, Lt. Beck has been arrested. Ve are mobilizing nov. Come."
Oliver shakes his head trying to absorb everything as quickly as possible. "Wait, w'at?"
"No time, ve move. You too Iole."

::Iole gets to her feet to follow Sid a little more readily than usual, keeping her voice down to express her concern::
Did you say Beck? But... Sid does this mean they know about the tunnels?

Before saying another word, Sid ushers the two out through the back and into the streets.
"Ve got a report half-hour ago, there vas a raid on the hotel vhere Beck vas staying. An informant sav the vhole thing and ve have an idea vhere they took him."
They continue through the back streets, avoiding patrols and hopefully suspicion.
"W'at do we need to do?" Oliver asks as they cross a street into another alley.
"Our forces have mobilized just inside the red-zone near the police district. Ve gonna get him back before he has a chance to reveal anything."
It's a long walk, requiring to scale a few walls and duck through some broken fences but after a while they arrive at the make-shift camp. Forces of the Red Dragoons and Crest Dogs have assembled. It's a hive of activity and tension as they muster and regroup for a push into a heavily protected district.
Connolly is in one corner energizing his troops with a stock speech about the Party and revolution. Once finished he walks over to Sid, Oliver and Iole. "Better late then never, eah, Oliver?"

"Ya, ye know me."
Connolly nods. "Aye, now onto the business. I hope Sid briefed you on the basics but here's the plan as it stands. We believe Beck is being held in the police station just a few blocks north of this position, our plan to to make a push against the police station and break him out. You are going to be the decoy, I'll explain more later."
Connolly turns to Sid and Iole. "Sid, there's a building just opposite the station with a view of the streets, we need you to cover the position. Iole you're going to be his spotter."
Sid frowns and his brow furrows. "Sir, I don't need a spotter."
"Well you're getting one, this is going to get hectic and I want clear shots."
"As you vish."
"Iole, your job is simple. Stay with Sid and when you two are in position, act as his second eyes. We'll radio with updates and targets we need taken out. Simple enough I hope?"

Simple enough.
::She answers tartly, sounding as thrilled about her and Sid working together as he is::
Lets get this overwith.

"Right, you two head off. Sid, know the way?" Connolly asks.
Sid just nods and begins walking, taking his rifle from a table nearby. He slows and waits for Iole to follow.
"Alright Ollie, something different today. We have a car standing by, we need you to turn it into a bomb, can you handle that?"
Oliver thinks for a moment, then shrugs. "Don see why not."
"Alright get on it." With that Connolly walks away, over to the captain of the Crest Dogs as they begin to rehash battle plans.

Eyes of the Hawk.
Alright so all we have to do is make sure Ollie gets to where he's going without any interference?

On the roof, Sid takes a moment to analyze the position.
"Ve're too open... I got an idea. Follov"
Without another word, Sid walks away, taking the fire escape down two floors then with the butt of his rifle he smashes in a window and jumps inside. Screams erupt as the occupants, a mother with several kids, shriek in freight an horror. She huddles over her children, protecting them.
He pays them little attention as he moves to another room with a window that over-looks the street. It's curtains provide better cover and still maintains a perfect view of the street and police station.
"Iole, shut them up." He mutters coldly as he raises his rifle and checks the sight.

::Iole swings in through the window after him like a monkey. She stares at the frightened children, and isn't really all that certain of what to do. She's never really been good with kids. She feels bad about this, but she doesn't know what else to do. She stares at each one in turn before changing her face to one with a long fanged snout that growls and hisses at them until all of them, even the mother, are backed into the furthest corner, to frightened to move. She changes her face back and stands by Sid::
Anything yet?

"Nothing!" He calls back just as the sounds of battle begin to erupt somewhere close. "But somethings happening."
After a few moments, a single car rolls up on the street below and suddenly makes a direct bee-line for the front of the police station. Someone drops and rolls out of the passenger side moments before the vehicle rolls into the front door of the station. "It's Ollie! Get down!"
A second later a huge explosion erupts that shakes the foundation of the apartment building, items fall off the shelves as them building shakes. When it ends, Sid stands back up and takes aim. From the windows of the police station, pandemonium as erupted and out from the back of the building a swarm of officers are emerging, trying to escape the flames and chaos.
Just down the street and rabble of LPA come charging down just in time to be confronted by disoriented officers. Many officers stand and fight while the others take cover, its becoming ugly fast.
Sid watches the street and takes a shot at a officer in the open.
"Iole! Need targets, tell me direction and spot."
He raises his rifle and spots a gunman in the station window, he takes aim and fires.

::Iole's magically enhanced sight allows her to see through the darkened windows on the second story of the heaquarters::
They have guardsmen on the second and third stories at the windows! They're picking off our men! Second one up third one over, third one up second one over, and fourth one from the right on the third story!

::Kerion get to the station, but stays out of sight upon hearing the near silent shot of a rifle:: Sniper... I should of known. ::He takes a look at his surroundings, noting where the shot originated from:: I won't get a good shot here, need to move to a location that has a better view.

Sid responds to each call from Iole, moving the rifle ever so slightly to get another shot off and with grace he opens the chamber, slides another round in and locks it in a beautifully fluid movement. After the five shots, he ducks down and opens his rifles chamber to let it cool for a moment.
"Good eyes you got." He states, looking over to Iole with a nod of satisfaction.
On the streets, the LPA have been pushing strongly, a second unit of the Crest Dogs has appeared from a side street and are advancing towards the back entrance to the station while the Red Dragoons keep the police forces busy on the main street.
Connolly is in the fray, with two pistols, walking down the street picking off targets left and right before ducking behind whatever cover is available to reload. He issues orders from his covered position, signaling lagging troops to advance and keep moral up with those around him.

"Right!" Sid pops up and takes a quick aim through his sight and fires off one round into the window Iole pointed out.
